What makes the best sportsbook?

I was checking and trying betting on many different sportsbooks recently and started wondering what does it take to be the best in this field.
Is it the best odds? The biggest community? Ease of use? Provenly fair? The biggest amount of promotions? Or maybe something else?

What is the most important thing (or things) and why have you chosen the particular sportsbook?

For me I'd say that biggest odds is not the issue, since my betting activity is mostly about fun - not a source of living.
I noticed that I liked one with attractive, engaging promotions, strong community and generally nice graphics far better than the others.

There can be no fixed answer for this question, as it'll differ from person to person's perspective. In my case odds do have a important role, as they determine how much will I get back, then how quickly does it credit when I deposit and withdraw play an important role.

I do look to see if they have an active shoutout box, as it'll show how active the site is. I'm okay with no promotions as all major promotions turn out scam, I do need site to have excellent graphics and fast loading speed.

 I do keep on trying new sportsbooks, but I'm looking forward to launch of Bitdice Sports book, if you like to visit new sports book keep a eye out for it.

DirectBet.eu was my favourite by far but they unfortunately closed due to some reason or another. Out of all the current sportsbools then I think Cloudbet is the best.

Popularity (my main preference)
-In the first place, a sportsbook sites will not be popular if it haven't gained a good reputation in crypto gambling world.

-I only apply this factor to those new sportbook sites.

Under Popularity, it should include the positive traits of that sportbook sites including large community, good support response, fast and smooth withdrawal, odds (given), available crypto payment option, lots of betting options etc.

In the past, Directbet is one of the most popular (or I think they are the most popular) sportsbooking site in the world of crypto gambling. We have our own standards and reasons why a sportsbook becomes the best in our eyes. My preference is on how the casino itself is very responsive with queries and questions that I'm experiencing with their site.

I don't really care about the odds, same as you op I'm also gambling for entertainment and not for the source of living. And whenever I bet, I'm always betting with my favorite teams so even sometimes odds aren't so good for them still I'm betting.

trust is the first thing to consider cause sometimes you may see a bookie offering like 0.5% margin but that won't matter in case you won and they didn't pay you

then you need to check the odds , it's the main thing in betting and without having the highest odds then you are for sure missing some few more dollars that you could win if you placed your bet with other site that have higher odds

last thing is promotions since they add extra value to your bets  like if the site offers betback , lossback or freebets , all of these will give you a little boost with your journey in order to profit more or lose less

I think odds are. One of the big reasons why onehash is as big as it is, because they do not arrange the odds, you bet against the other people about sportsbook and who will win, of course it makes the odds volatile and changing constantly and sometimes it means you can lower odds on some games but in the long run there are some games where you know the winning team and get x2 of the odds compared to other places.

Aside from odds the parlay is a good option, I do not want to bet on just one single match and want to bet on couple matches together for a bigger win if I can, that option is missing in some places so that is a big plus as well.

People sometimes comparing the best odds between sportbooks to another sportbooks but this is not everything to decide which sportbooks i had use because their reputations and easy to use is important to me too and i had already found it through directbet but unfortunately since they closing their service until now i could not find sportbooks site near to their features

Easier to navigate user interface, good support and of course good promotion are the most interesting things I dreamed from online sportsbooks. And one more thing, the ability to load the site faster even though we use the less expensive connection.

Interface is an issue to me but odds aren't. If the sportsbook has some background that I don't like and it doesn't suit my taste, I'm leaving it and won't try it at all. I think majority of the sportsbook are loading faster and that's normal. Chat support, easy to withdraw and provably fair like what they said.

2. Large variety of sporting events
3. Frequent promotions
4. Wide variety of betting types per event

The only gambling website I have ever known has a promotion that is not interrupted every week with a good prize is directbet.eu. but they have closed, I really like their promotions.

At first I only liked soccer betting, but with the ease of betting provided on the website, I started betting on all types of sports.
