I was reading on some threads here and it made me wonder what will actually happen if the price of bitcoin continues to drop? And who will be affected more by this: bitcoin miners? Buyers? What do you think guys?

If ever the bitcoin price continue to drop it would affects some aspect and people. One of those are the ones who hold for such a long time. Another one is the buyers of bitcoin because some of them might not have the urge to buy if they see that the value of it is dropping. People won't invest in something they aren't sure they can gain. Nevertheless, I believe that the bitcoin price will not drop continuously.

well to me, I see it as always the same buy and sell avenues where everyone can get compromised- miners, buyers and everyone. The fact is that Bitcoin controls the whole cryptoworld and so we can't deny that its fall drags the whole cryptospace along.

It will affect all of us but not the whales, they will just keep on buying more because they are the one who can see that there is a huge profit to be made when the market is in a difficult situation or in the bearish situation, this is where opportunity came for investors and traders.

If that happened that the price of bitcoin are continue to drop maybe many investor's are not interested to invest their money in bitcoin because they are always disappointed the price fluctuations. So it could affect also the popularity of bitcoin to drop down. And we all hope that this could not be happened.

if only the price of bitcoin continues to fall, then the biggest affected are those who invest and there are also some altcoin miners will be affected. even so, it should be because this bitcoin can recover even though it will take a lot of time.

I think the whales controls short volatility and long volatility of bitcoin, if prices always decrease, then this is an opportunity for us to buy lots of bitcoin.

I think this will last until the next few months, bitcoin will experience difficult times. the most disadvantaged at this time are those who invest, especially if they buy at high prices in the past few months. One way out is to be patient and wait, that's all that can be done ...

Bitcoin still strong as this miment no signals for continues dropping in the coinmarketcap, i think price value steady at 7000$ before end of this and the bull begin next month October 2018.

I hope nothing bad will happen. But this is bad for altcoin because small and scam alt will go to zero. For bitcoin i see many times bitcoin price drop but always can go up again

Imo both are equally affected if the price of Bitcoin suddenly goes down. No one would be affected more because each side had spent some $$ just to be involved with Bitcoin.

What I dont really get here is that why those people who dont even have or plan to buy or even mine BTC are the most affected here in forum? post a lot of thread, news, etc. etc. while they dont even have.

Probably not all who knows maybe they do own or mine BTC and doesn't want everyone to know their plans/involvement.  I don't mind these type of threads tbh they're better than FUD threads since they don't spread negative vibes in the forum.

Bitcoin drop in price affects everybody invested in cryptocurrencies, miner's are already stressed out, profitability is almost at its lowest, altcoins are toast in price, traders are have a hell of time making  profits, ICOs are finding it finding it difficult to hit soft caps, YouTubers are having less views, everyone is affected

Definitely is going to effect everyone hodl and mining at the moment. Personally I'm all about it dropping as it give me and other the opportunity to get in more before it takes off and it will as the tech is proven to be worth investing money and time into. Can't even count how many patents have been issued between all the big companies jumping on the blockchain wagon regardless if it's a public or private blockchain. It's here to stay so I'm not worried.

I agree.The current price may not be very good for us and if this will continue to happen,lot of investors will surely turn their backs on bitcoin.But i think it's just a matter of time,btc price will surely recover and may even give us a blast when its price reaches a new peak.

Don't worry too much with the price of Bitcoin. It's the standard market cycle, and that's it.

No manipulation or other conspiracy (outside of the ways all markets are manipulated by traders/investors). Looking at the charts everything seems pretty normal. Volatility is high as it should be in a market of it's size. Price trend is still bearish which isn't surprising considering the minuscule amount of hype and discussion of crypto in mainstream areas thus not much new money flowing into the crypto markets (definitely not enough to support a change of trend).

Some traders are still managing to make money, and most newbies are getting rekt as they do in these conditions.

The good news is progress is being made on the tech end. Now that money isn't the main focus of all crypto discussions the devs can get back to innovating. It looks like there are lots of crypto ATM businesses that are still expanding their atm networks which is great to see. It's nice that people aren't giving their money to shitty ICO projects and are being more cautious with their investments.
