I noticed that if someone quote a post that I was quoted I am not notified.
Can this be configured somehow in settings? I would like to be notified of such posts.

I noticed that if someone quote a post that I was quoted I am not notified.
Can this be configured somehow in settings? I would like to be notified of such posts.
It doesn't work that way, it is just set to notify for posts which are quoted directly, where is clear somebody is replying to you. |

 @Piggy and the Gang Can I have this little suggestion taken in to consideration or eventual evaluation by those who use telegram bot? Above I have shopped (poorly) the message that bot is giving me, in a manner I would like to see it. There is no point for the bot to tell me my bitcointalk nick, I'm usually aware of my own name  (also no name, makes it harder for multi-account-ers) I have also edited out the massage or rather part of it. There is no reason for including the fraction of a post, it gives almost no insight and sometimes all we get is an emoticon or just few letters. This way bot could gain a little extra "productivity". Massage is tight, readable, clear and a bit more anonymous (for eventual bystanders). Other than that, bot is flawless, works like a charm. |

I kindly disagree.
In most cases the small part shown tells me if I want to read the post I was mentioned in or not.
Leave that part this way please.

@Poptok1 Maybe can just be reformatted in a clearer way, keeping the current content. Those few words of the message itself have the purpose to give an idea of the message you are going to find |

If you are interested in the notifications but Telegram is a deal breaker, you can still have your own thread where the notifications are sent to.  You can find the instructions in the first post. |

This is an amazing thing that you've created Piggy! I love it!
Might want to add for the tele section though that '@' isn't necessary when sending the bot your username on tele. Just simply writing the username works. The other way with the '@' doesn't work.

Hi Piggy, suchmoon quoted one of my posts the other day in connection with a user who copy/pasted it and got banned here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg49950687#msg49950687I found it by accident when viewing new posts in Meta. I never received a notification in my thread for this quote, any idea why? |
