Likely just another shitcoin that they are airdropping to thousands of Ethereum addresses. Scammers sometimes do this, in an attempt to lure people in with the promise of free coins. If the project was worth anything or had any redeeming features whatsoever, they wouldn't be giving it away for free.

Best bet is to just ignore it.

I know but they got a contract spam because the token left but he did not even go in there I think it devalues the eth network and anyone can just mess with our wallets and leave an advertisement as a contract I think vitalik could sort out a way this does not happen

Yes, it also happened to many times before especially last year there were at least four tokens in my three wallets that I was sure I did not bought nor applied for them. They just came in out of nowhere and then I learned later on that all of them got no value at all as not one even made it to any exchange big and small. These days there are so many creative ways to entice people to open their crypto pockets and be victimized with scams and frauds so we have to be careful.

That's a free coin and they are doing it for advertising and it seem effective on their part because you have noticed them.

I know how it feels to have a dust token to your wallet, like they said ignore it.

I have the same -100.00 blockwell.ai KYC Casper Token in myetherwallet also, this is not a airdrop as it appears that the token was sent FROM my wallet.

Maybe it has to do with CASPER, the new Ethereum solution..

As long as your other tokens and ether balance remain intact, I would say there's no cause to worry much over some ghost shitcoin that was airdropped to your ethereum wallet.

No cause for alarm then as I got same token but in checking it's zero balance. If it isn't what I'm thinking about then they surely for attention of so many investors. Funny set of devs though.

Well, unfortunately it's pretty hard to solve this issue, I guess, because many people might even be interested in random free coins and ethereum is really a platform for all the good and shitty projects out there. Many tokens are distributed randomply to ethereum holders. Perhaps there could be created a feature that would allow one to make his/her wallet unseen by Airdroppers, but I am not sure even about that.
Why is it a problem anyway? I once got trx this way and simply didn't know for months. It was worth about 30 dollars when I saw it on my exchange profile and it was kind of a nice surprise.

I guess you did not really understand. Those tokens went out of his wallet. Ok, it was a shitcoin, but at least it costs him some gas!

It happened to me also. Isn't this alarming? Does this not mean they can send OUT tokens from your personal wallet to other wallet?

I hope not...

You can think of such things as advertising, because now many fraudsters do this, they have some way to make these tokens appear in your wallet, but they don't have any value!

Those amount isn't big.

The quantity of those tokens are big but in real value, it has nothing to do with its current market value. You can't even throw away those tokens unless you want to spend some gas for those thrownaway tokens that has been passed to you as a way for them to be recognized.

Hahah, no. Testing of what? Every test and implementation on Ethereum network conducting the testnet first and not on mainnet. And if you just read it with some attention there is even website of the project which is sending those tokens. It's simply an advertisement of that project. Nothing special

I got some of the coins out of nowhere like that probably to make some exposure and advertisement for their ICO or platform, some of them are just spam or just worthless altcoins giving some airdrops without your application or permission, get used to it if you are a bounty hunter cause they are using bounty spreadsheet to get wallet address.
