Bounty program or ICO project can't reach the target is just because developer team doesn't have enough preparation to face members problem and market risk. Have good concept, clearly roadmap and many bonuses will not guarantee will have great result. As crypto lovers we only can follow but decide what the best for ICO/ bounty is developer.

bounty is totally related with the ico. you should check the ico as you are investing in it. you should check if the project can reach to soft cap and hardcap. you should check if the team and advisors are enough good etc. if so, bounty will not fail.

To stand out? Just be a legit and trusted ICO on the first place and if you have good teams and the project is unique, then investors will notice you right away. Problem with most ICO is that they are just a copy-cat of another project already. If your project closely resemble previous successful ICO, it doesn't mean that you will be successful as well. Devs should offer something different and unique that will offer solutions to real life problems like medicinal apps or anything to do to save the cost of electricity or anything related to the environment.

For a bounty to stand out, alot of factors matter. The most important of them all are the genuineness of the project and its usefulness.

first of course is who manage the bounty, been thru quite some bounty and trust me, you never wanted to have a bad bounty manager
Some are very ego and very self center, and they don't distribute the reward well and treating everyone unfair

Bounty could create awareness for ICO and it is kinda effective
