Do you think Alt coins/ ICO legit if they just listed an lower rank exchange ?

Just across my mind, if Alt coins or ICO listed and lower ranked exchange it's does mean they are legit ? I don't think so. I had noticed few ICO make slogan we are on exchange to attract investors. Although they don't have any team but spending small money they are listing lower rank exchange. If you are thinking they are legit due to listed on exchange than I will give you example about Bitconnect ( BCC). Do you remember it's price growth was too high ? What is current situation ? Delisted from all exchange and now it hasn't any value.
Usually an ICO try to listed an exchange hardly. Because they want to sale their hold token. Eventually they sold their all coins and skip with found. In a result token price will drop ultimately. It's called slow poison, they will scam slowly.

However before you buy any ICO or Alt coins check how they are potential. I have a guidelines may be it will help you little.

There are many ways to compare a coin before buying to confirm about its legality. Having on the list one of them and important one of them but if a coin is staying at the bottom of the list so that don’t make that impression.

I think any coin or exchange listed is much more reliable then others who have not listed the process of listing is not that easy it is hard to get listed on. Getting listed is good but not least.

There are quite some coins like that in the space and I think kingxchain is on of them. No tangible use case, but they've been listed on exchange. The team kept pumping the price..now a little drop in the price of ETH, their coin KXC is now almost worthless.

Before buying any coin or Ico one should gain vast knowledge about he the coins past, legality, stats, pricing, volatility and so on listing is one of them but staying in the bottom of the list doesn’t make any sense.

I think that altcoins and \icos are legit despite the exchange they are listed on. Whether an altcoin or ICO is listed on an exchange doesn't really determine whether or not it is legit. There are some really good coins that are yet to be listed on any exchange, and there are some pretty bad ones that have even be listed on major exchanges.

If you talk about an altcoin already on the list of coinmaketcap, it is better that it is also included in the lists of large excahnge to attract the greatest number of people possible.
The ico just completed, hardly can be listed on huge exchenge immediately, from what I understand costs a lot of money to have the place on some exchange.
For this reason I tend to believe in the altcoin that are listed on big exchanges and ICOs that have the intention to enter big exchanges, if an altcoin does not want to enter big markets I can hardly believe I can get a decent value over the time.

If they listing on the low rank exchange it doesn't mean they are not legit. Do you think a scam ICO cannot list their coin in some well known exchanges ?
They could raised millions of dollars and just pay the big exchange to list their token, so it is not like that.
The only way to know the scam ICO is just by doing your research to that project.

actually there is no effect whatsoever if a token list is in an exchange that has a large volume or not, all because of an opinion if a token list is in a large exchange there will be a possibility of a price increase.
