I'm not too sure that ethereum will reach $100. Because I think ethereum is one of the best coins that has good future prospects besides bitcoin. The condition of the ethereum market which is currently down, is common in crypto, but I am sure the ethereum price will rise again and I am very confident that ethereum price will not be down to $ 100. maybe by the end of this year it could reach $ 500. who knows, but I still believe and always believe in ethereum until now

Ethereum is decentralised and secure , but has issues with scalability. With the sharding upgrade it will sort
out this issue and the price will reach and overcome ATH ( all time high )

I cam categorically tell you that ETH is not going to die or end. Many ICOs are built on ethereum blockchain which means if Eth die today many ICOs will follow suit.

I don't think eth will ever go to the price of 100$ or below. Eth is one of the best token ever plus th best platform token exist. So it's really hard that eth will fall that much but there is a chance if the market go more bearish then it's possible.
 In last few months there is many scammed and failed ico in this market and in that mean time eth is the biggest platform for ico so this scaming or falling thing effect on eth. Plus market is going bearish day by day that also bad for ethereum. So we saw a huge fall in eth in last few days but at some point eth break it.

"Death" means the cancellation of Ethereum from the market, and I find it very unlikely, given the capital invested.

I agree that it is innevitable especially if the market do so. But at this moment, i do doubt thst its market value will fall as that much. Although there are tendencies, holding is necessary not only in ethereum but to most cryptos. Even if the market price of ethereum is at 100 usd, it would eventually given that it is naturally volatile and dumps are not permanent.

As long as the coin has value it will not die. Its price can go lower around 100 usd but it will not lose its value. Ethereum is not the only coin in downward trend, in fact, the whole market is in downward trend. This is just a phase that cryptos have to go through.

Good point here. Ethereum will be in demand and those ICO will need Ethereum for transfer. With recent dip, I think its temporary and ethereum has several upgrade underway. Sooner Eth will rebound.

If etherum will be used only to pay fees for erc tokens it can die, this is my idea. I don't think it will happen but is a fear of mine.
The low price can be justified by the time of the market, but while the bitcoin has dropped by 66%, ethereum has fallen by more than 80% we will see what happens in the end of the year which is usually a moment of high volumes.

ETH is making a small rebound, still above $200.  I hope it never reaches $100 but anything is possible, as proven lately with prices.  I don't see ETH dying though, way too many ICOs are using it as payment and it is one of the most widely accepted and adopted cryptos outside of Bitcoin.

I definitely believe that statement is totally wrong. With Bitcoin and with Ethereum alike, they have a long life in front of them unless something sudden change which so far is not here.

In fact, it's price might probably rise a lot by the end of the year. That classic time when a lot of people will feel regrets for not buying before of course. I can't wait to see the ones that buy on the peak of the price and then it start to fall again also.

So far, i really don't think about the death of Ethereum. ETH is facing it down market this year especially some recent months. But, is it meant to death? Although the down price is inevitable, I'm sure that this altcoin, as the most promising coin, can increase as well. The way is by being patient and keep holding our ETH to wait for some months later.
