it is simply because it is called pump and dump and not pump and pump. and if you expect anything other than this duality in the altcion market you will be surprised and continue losing money.
Agreed. If something was pumped to top 2 and holded for 2 years it dasnt mean that it will stay there forever and never be dumped. ETh is altcoin like every other.

In a life we have to see everything in positive manner.Why not we use this as an opportunity to inverse our money?Since we know the price of Ethereum will increase again in short period.

And manny more. ETH is nothing better than stellar, waves, eos, neo, vet, nem and they all do the same (daps and smart contracts) and dozens more. I even think that we have manny better ones. I wrote more about eth in post above. Perhaps in next bull run we will have another daps/sc coin on nr 2 in marketcap and eth will be where waves is. Thats why hodling is one of the riskiest strategies in crypto market.
Eth is important for ivestors 2016 - 2018 - we know it to be top 3 all the time and its hard for us to bealive that it can be dumped realy low. But 2019 investors during next bull run will see other coin where ETH is now and will think about that coin as we think about ETH.
Just like 2013 investors thought about Namecoin, Peercoin, Feathercoin and manny more.
It may recover but its not certain. Perhaps it will recover to its current USD/ETH price but BTC will give much better ROI what means ETH/BTC will continue to drop. In short term its oversold in my opinion and 30% bounce is economicaly needed but full recovery might be hard.
My friend told me that this is because after the ICO fundraising, ICO caused many merchants relying on Ethereum to sell ETH to cash, but I am not sure if this is true!
Shittalk. Crypto society alwais tries to find explenation why we see drop. ICOs are here alwais. What means ETH should be beeing dumped all the time not only last 3 months. Every day we can see new ICOs what means that investors are buing ether to buy them? So its like old icos are selling new ico are collecting. Icos are collecting not only ETH but also BTC, LTC, USD and sometimes monero (most cummon). ETH is dropping because its only ALT that was pumped too long like Namecoin, Peercoin, Feathercoin in 2013.
