Talking about 4 types of fossil fuel, how much #fossilfuel is burned every day, and what will happen when we run out of fossil fuels.

"The burning of #fossil fuels by humans is the largest source of emissions of #carbon dioxide, which is one of the greenhouse gases that allows radiative forcing and contributes to global warming. The utilization of fossil fuels has enabled large-scale industrial development and largely supplanted water-driven mills, as well as the combustion of wood or peat for heat."

Combustion of fossil fuels also produces other air pollutants, such as nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide (which contribute to smog and acid rain), volatile organic compounds and heavy metals. Fossil fuels also contain #radioactive materials, mainly uranium and thorium, which are released into the atmosphere.

Moreover, these environmental #pollution impacts on the human beings because its particles of the fossil fuel on the air cause negative health effects when inhaled by people. These #health effects include premature death, acute respiratory illness, aggravated #asthma, chronic #bronchitis and decreased lung function. So, the poor, undernourished, very young and very old, and people with preexisting #respiratory disease and other ill health, are more at risk.

At the #REIF, we met many like-minded industry experts and business leaders from all over the world, mostly from Japan, #Germany and #Denmark. The Japan government is trying to reduce its dependency on imported #oil and nuclear #energy.

There we met our partner, Fujita Construction. Entrade’s generator combines cutting-edge waste2energy #technology with solar and storage into a complete off-grid power supply. With permanent online monitoring, our incredibly powerful systems provide clean, climate-neutral electrical and #thermal energy everywhere in the world, by converting #biomass and waste-mix into energy.

Fujita Construction operates Spa Resort Abukuma, located in Fukushima Prefecture. The resort has been running our E3 technology since 2017, and with commercial success and growing demand, in 2018 added an Entrade E4 technology. Electricity from the E3 covers #electricity demand of the resort, while electricity from the E4 send supplies to the grid obtaining a FIT of 40 yen/kWh. The machines also produces thermal energy that are being used to heat water for hot baths, floor heating in winter, and room cooling in summer by means of an absorption chiller.
