Hey guys!

I wonder if the problem is somewhere in my setup or many of you have noticed this.

Usually, when I mine ETH my reported hashrate is 158mh/s and the one, reported by the pool, is around 154-158mh/s, which is totally fine.

Currently, I have started mining ETC due to many reasons, but I am not really happy with the outcome. I have seen, that when mining ETC my hashrate is again 158-159 reported from the miner, but when I go to the pool it is less than 150 for longer periods of time.

Herewith I will share a screenshot from the pool: https://imgur.com/a/ahTXHOo

I cannot really understand why this is happening. As you can see, the hashrate has even dropped from 21:20 to 00:20 below 130mh/s. I know that sometimes you mine with higher hashrate, sometimes with lower, but this doesn't seem to me like a constant hashrate of even 155mh/s...

Can anyone help out ?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know if I can help but I can try. It could be a problem with the pool. Have you tried moving to another pool and comparing the results?

BTW, have you excluded stale shares? How good your connection to the pool is? If your connection is good, I don't see what else you can do.

I also swichted a couple of month's ago to ETC and my hashrate's are the same

In fact the ETC should be better as an outcome since the DAG number there in theory should be lower. Probably it is something to do with your pool, you can change to another one.

I use Nicehash to maintain my colleagues rigs easily from distance with Anydesk and when I see the hash rate in the mining rig it is 184 mhs but when I go to check profitability online at Nicehash it is always different. The real profitability being the one near your numbers in the right side in Nicehash which happens to be the same as in Nicehash so I am sure Nicehash is not playing any games.
