Guest Spot: Who or What Can Put an End to Bitcoin?
Over the past few years, Bitcoin has experienced a huge number of attacks and external criticism, getting a reputation of Antifragile. This term was coined by Nassim Nicholas Taleb and describes the phenomenon when something becomes popular under unfavorable conditions.

“Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Yet, in spite of the ubiquity of the phenomenon, there is no word for the exact opposite of fragile. Let us call it antifragile.”- says Taleb.

From this point of view, probably, in order to kill Bitcoin, you just have to stop criticizing it. However, in the world of constantly competing currencies and precious metals, this is very unlikely to happen.

Attacks on Bitcoin: Past, Present, and Future

Several months ago, the user of the Reddit network, under the nickname themetalfriend, compiled a list of all attacks that can be aimed at killing Bitcoin. In his opinion: there are three most common types of attacks on Bitcoin:

Attacks to slowdown the Bitcoin development
Attacks to slowdown the Bitcoin adoption
Attacks to reduce the efficiency of the Bitcoin infrastructure
From all the above it follows that all three types of attacks are interrelated. At the very least, they lead to the same result. Let’s consider each of them in more detail.

At $2000, bitcoin looks more expensive than Gold when now gold at $1200/ounce is the safest investment supported by tonnes and tonnes of Gold purchased by Central banks worldwide.

Bitcoin above $2000 is the real enemy of Bitcoin. It looks like bitcoin will survive as 3rd tier digital asset and also digital currency.

I think that only US special services will be able to close most of the crypto currency! If they destroy crypto-currency exchanges, then the coins themselves will not be necessary to anyone. it's my opinion

Hostgator rejecting bitcoin websites.

Due to the domain crypago.com, we feel your website may be in violation of our Terms of Service. Please review our Terms of Service here: http://www.hostgator.com/tos/tos.php and http://www.hostgator.com/tos/acceptable-use-policy.

They refunded my money and refused me service. Talk about ignorance and prejudice. Does anyone know of a hosting company that's crypto friendly? Thanks in advance.

Because the world revolves around the US and their special services have limitless jurisdiction Wink

The only single event that could stop Bitcoin would be the same event that would cripple the Internet. We are far beyond the point where an organization, a country or an institution can stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin can only burn out by itself. Its greatest enemy is competition.

The government i guess can put an end to bitcoin and other cryptocurrency by clamping down on all exchange site and restricting all their citizens from having access to it.

Bitcoin price is too high that's why someone measure bitcoin as gold. In recent time so many big name and companies are connecting with bitcoin. That’s why government will also accept bitcoin in near future.

The only hurdle the coins need to overcome is the governments of the respective countries. That means if the government does not approve and restricts this market, then that might play a role in putting an end to the coins.

I think the thing that can put an end to bitcoin is bad investor and bad news. When investors are buying bitcoin with motive of using it for illegal act will lead to government giving bitcoin bad image in the presence of non users.

The only entity that can put a stop to BTC is the government. If they ban the practices of the crypto market and does not even let the operation of it begin, then it will put a stop to the market and on crypto.

Massive manipulation and speculation can really harm the price of Bitcoin but still it wouldn't be enough for stopping Bitcoin completely. People might want to argue that the price of mining increasing than the actual value might end Bitcoin's journey but what actually happen to the coins that have already been mined? Even if I were to make an educated guess rather than just speaking out of emotions, I would have said Bitcoin has already strengthen it's position among us.

To put an end on something which is being criticized all over the world, it's pretty tough. But, as the world is revolving with the hand of US, this only country might stop this crypto economy in a hypothetical way. Fairly speaking, in reality this can't be done actually to put an end on it.

Bitcoin has been storm safe, any kind of assault won't stop Bitcoin's adventure towards a sheltered point for the future, this is the underlying trip from BTC. 95% of the general population on the planet will before long come to help BTC.

The main single occasion that could stop Bitcoin would be a similar occasion that would injure the Internet. We are a long ways past the point where an association, a nation or a foundation can stop Bitcoin. Bitcoin can just wear out without anyone else's input. Its most noteworthy foe is a rivalry.

I think that the thing or force that will put an end to Bitcoin is the government itself. We all know that Bitcoin is a decentralized cryptocurrency which means it is not regulated by a central bank. Because of this chracteristics, Bitcoin can destabilize the current currency that the government is using. It will led into lower tax/revenue collection, economic chaos, and ultimately, leading to destabilization of the structure of the government.

Day by day bitcoin is getting more and more popular only and people are getting more knowledge about bitcoin and they are understanding the benefits of it. So, there is almost no chance that anyone expect the people can put an full stop to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is at a very crucial state right now. It is in the verge of rising and day by day more people are accepting bitcoin for it's advantages and felexibility. So, I don't think bitcoin can be easily ended by anyone or anything.
