I accept that 2018’s growth has held back new ICOs getting in with their projects. They just held back but have not yet stopped pitching in. They know cryto’s nature is fluctuation in values. 2019 is going to be an year of crypto currencies. Bitcoin value is going to be on track with values $10k by end November 2018. 2019 would start with around $10k plus. This would be the least threshold bitcoin would set itself next year. Just look at the number of scam ICOs got into the market, its very less. They could not make it as the market was so down.

The growth trend just held back the ICOs from getting into the market. But they are just waiting back for bitcoin and other altcoins values get back on track. Besides the red market, if you had looked at, we had so any legit ICOs this year. They were and are in line with getting into exchanges. Many have succeeded. The issues was here is the value of the tokens. The token price was below the ICO price in the exchanges. Hope 2019 should start with good growth trend.

enthusiastic investors who are very enthusiastic and not doubtful. It's not easy to stop because there are a lot of directions that can not be reached with the crypto currencies that are still growing.

this is a very valuable lesson for us, investors. the extent to which we understand an ICO. do not be too easy to fall in love with tempting offers. even we have to observe the real journey in an ICO. it is not easy, at least it is possible to minimize the possibility of us being trapped in a scam.
and hopefully by 2019 there will be an inspection for an ICO. the issue is more stringent about an ICO. so there will be no more scams.

I do not agree if it is said that 90% ico is a scam. But the price in 2018 is currently falling, and if you look at the crypto price trend it is like this. So I think for 2019 the trend of ico will still continue

- 90% ICOs are a scam.
- 90% of people lost their investments on 90% due to the downtrend 2018

So how do you think will the ICOs trend started in 2016 continue in 2019?

I think everything will remain the same as in 2018, but only 90% of ICO a scam I do not think is true.

ICOs will still continue to trend even beyond 2019 because it gives investors hope for profitability in their capital. However, without proper research and knowledge of the company, the team and the project itself, and overall behind the ICOs, the risks are very high that you as investors will be scammed.

The number of ICOs that scam resulted in a decrease in investor confidence to join the ICO. If more days many investors leave investments in ICO, there will automatically be no ICO at least until the end of 2019.

I think ICO will not stop because the market is always growing. We can also invest in them when trading on the floor will be less risky.

If the crypto currency market recovers, then ICO as a way of investment will continue to exist. And if in the future there is a way to get rid of scammers, the ICO will exist for a very long time.

I completely agree. That the number of scam projects is very strong influences ICO as a way of investing. This problem needs to be addressed somehow, and if there is a way out, then ICO will continue to exist.

ICO will not disappear from the market, but there may be changes that will help restore confidence in ICO

Confidence in new projects was lost because of constant scams and the fall of coins in the market after launch. So it will be unprofitable to do this in 2019

I don't think it will stop. Maybe it will change and become safer for investors, but it will take a while, so for now just learn about the project before you will invest in it

if many new ICOs only try to attract as many investors as possible without real activities to manage investor funds, then I am sure the ICO will close in the next few years. but if the quality of ICOs and services starts to be improved until the value of tokens in the market becomes good, this will be different and good

i don't think this will stop due to those scam projects. It seems that this will increase in the coming years due to more projects will be launch thru ICO. I'm hoping that every investors will do his diligent research about those projects before putting their money to them. We need regulations for this ICOs to minimize fake projects.

why are you thinking like that ? and 90% ICOs are scam? i dont think so . yes it is true that most ICOs right now is scam but its not 90%, maybe 60 or 55% i still find ICOs project who have real product with  strong vision and mission ,and have big community . people lose their interest in ICOs because bear market .

I think ICO will remain in 2019, but something will change, there may be some regulation to reduce the percentage of fraud in projects.
