The search for renewable energy began, to ensure a sustainable future. Today, our civilisation stands at a critical juncture. For renewable power to continue its rapid advancement, the right decisions need to be taken. Throughout the entire modern age, mankind has used fossial fuels to meet its energy requirements. Coal, oil and natural gas have lit homes and powered machinery for centuries, driving civilization forward. But as human development improved , the unsustainability of such energy became apparent. Global fuel supplies deteriorated and the atmosphere became more polluted creating a huge problem for the mankind. As carbon dieoxide is immensely produced it is affecting the world in many different ways. The alternative energy have low environmental impact. Renewable energy is always derived from natural processes of the earth . This alternative energies that are derived directly from the sun’s heat which is known as the solar energy, it is derived from the tidal waves of the ocean and seas naming tidal power or energy , it is derived from the organic material known as biomass to generate electricity , it is derived from the water sources to generate power is known as hydro energy these helps to create a clean environment. Renewable electricity generation is estimated to account for 8.4% of global electricity generation. It has grown by 17% higher than 10 years average and the highest increment on record. This alternative energy do play a significant part in the electricity growth , contributing 50% of the growth in global power generation in 2017. Many countries are relying upon this renewable energy such as Denmark aims to be 100% fossil fuel free by 2050 they already started using 40% of alternative energy since 2014,by the year 2020 they are aiming to reach out by 50%.Iceland with almost 100% renewable energy generates the most clean electricity Sweden also have started using 100% renewable energy since 2015.Within the year 2021 Costa Rica is going to use 100% of renewable energy as it is a small country with less population and geographical condition it is on its way to make a mark. By the year 2020 Nicaragua a Central American country is aiming to use 90% of this renewable energy. Likewise United Kingdom is windy place & electricity from wind power has come into existence since 2015.Germany set for a bright future with solar energy since 2015 it is using 78% of renewable energy. Morocco is a country with abundance of sunshine so they decided to rely upon the solar system than to use fossil fuels, by 2018 December they are going to produce solar energy and is going to provide more than one million Moroccan households. U.K has started using renewable energy by 28% and to aims to be higher by 2020, 25% in Spain and 23% in Italy .The rapid growth of renewable energy since 2017 has grown by 17% .The largest growth in 2016 was in China followed by US , Germany and Japan. China is the recently world’s largest using sloar power, hydro power and wind power. Keyna was one of the backward countries who used to borrow electricity from the neighbouring countries but now Kenya produces 20% energy from renewable sources which will increase within 2020. The renewable energy does not pollute the air and helps the earth from getting polluted. People now a days are more inclined towards using this renewable energy or alternative energy than to use fossil fuels. In upcoming future this alternative energy is surely going to make a mark in the society. Moreover Renewable energy never runs out!
