Several companies that have previously accepted Bitcoin have since decided to stop supporting the cryptocurrency. In April, for example, Expedia dropped support for cryptocurrency in partly due to the volatility in value for digital currencies like Bitcoin.

Previously, many Starbucks outlets in several countries were bankrupt and closed their outlets so I thought this was Starbucks way to survive. using this method to survive is a good idea, but hopefully when bitcoin is experiencing a decline it is not actually a boomerang for Starbucks.

Yes its a news that can open the eyes of some companies to start accepting BTC.

Confirmation issues will rise again, it takes time though and my guess is that so are your coffee orders. Without confirmation, no coffee They should be choosing a faster altcoin instead some coins can send payment in seconds. XRP probably.
