I wanna buy some CPChain (CPC) but I'm looking at https://www.livecoinwatch.com/price/CPChain-CPC
And I notice the huge difference in ETH, BTC and fiat pair.

Why is this? ETH has a +70% change in the last 30 days.
While BTC and usd only have about a +4% change.

Now, another "problem"... I bought some ETH at $260. (Thought I bought the bottom😂) so now that's a lot less worth...
The ETH value of CPC keeps going up, while USD keeps going down. Do I buy now before eth value goes up again or what ? I'm confused. I have no idea what to do!

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I suggest you actually read up on crypto trading and how the market moves before doing anything else. Like you've said already, you have no clue what you are doing or what you should do, so losing money is just a matter of time in your situation. Please don't be insulted or anything, we all started somewhere. Google is your friend, you've got a long way to go, good luck!

It's because ethereum price from $300+ drop down to $193.23 unlike bitcoin that stay at the $6k value.
Since, bitcoin is the main pair you must relay to the bitcoin price but if you still believe on ETH you can exchange your CPC to ethereum and wait for ethereum recovery to make a big profit.

Look at this graph below.

The red line is ETH and the bitcoin line is BTC there is a massive difference in the movement because few days ago altcoins are massively dropped unlike bitcoin that stay at $6k value after some news about another Bitcoin ETF decline.

because statistics are relative to time

Since it is running on a free market, a huge difference in different pairs is not that uncommon. On a free market, the pair with most volume is the one who is constantly being updated and the pair/s that have low volume can sometimes differ in price. Also, the price is dependent on what price the market is willing to buy and sell a certain coin in a certain pair. From the statistics you gave, my only conclusion is that ETH pair had a +70% change instead of only +4% like the other pairs because it had more trading volume at that time and traders are willing to buy and sell at a higher rate than usual in that pair.

It can be opposite in seconds, one really good news for bitcoin and bitcoin will have +80%. One bad news for ETH and ETH will be -70% Wink
Its markets... nothing exciting here, day as everyday.
