No demo, refusing to send a board (that will be shiped back to the company after tests + videos) to a very highly trusted and estimed member, I don't care what the company is, I smell red flags and scam. Period.

Why would we send a board to someone with no experience mining with FPGA or Verilog experience? You need to understand what this is before making accusations. If you don't want to purchase then fine, no-one is forcing you to.

Why would You like to collect money from someone with no experience mining with FPGA or Verilog experience?

We aren't. If you don't know either then please do not buy (or troll). For those who have read up on FPGA mining and looked at our website, we are happy to provide assistance.

Than delete this thread and try selling at Verilog forums...
If You are new to this forum, than You should call older member to stand by You. In this case by sending prototype to him in order to confirm Your claims. Refusing to do that is accepting risk of being labeled as scammer and that will ruin Your sales here. Unless You are scammer and satisfied with any income from inexperienced forum members....

EDIT: spell correction

Dude your a serial troll, nobody guna click your links. Get a life and do something productive with your time.

-1.

A trusted member doesn't add any value to it.

If its a new board, I can understand. But its not.

As an escrow isn't needed as I am going to pay with a credit card, for a product that does have a P/N and an official warranty I really don't see the point

Do you know the seller ? Have you seen the actual product ? Coz I can't find anything about a "Huawei F100" wether on taobao or JD or alibaba. I even tried with chinese caracters, there's nothing.
Nothing either on huawei's website: https://www.huawei.com/en/search/?lang=en#currentPage=1&resLang=en&searchType=www_all&searchString=f100

Huawei have an FP1 based on VU9P.

When you search for FPGA you can find this:

https://e.huawei.com/en/material/onLineView?materialid=ebe2d58705014697a703bffc5b63cc83

There is F100 adapter.

Another thing is how real this device is and when can be delivered.

i don't support them nor not support them. they don't seem like a scam tho. their responses have been pretty reasonable in my opinion. personally I find FPGAs pretty interesting from a technology standpoint, but none of them seem to do anything for ETH mining so i have no reason to really buy one.

everyone complaining is just an entitled crybaby that thinks every company is obligated to give away free shit to certain members here before they are allowed to sell something on BCT (else the scam accusations and pitchforks come out). which is totally bogus. most of the people complaining wouldn't be able to afford what he's selling anyway (FPGAs are too damn expensive for the average miner IMO, myself included). everyone wants to get "street cred" by being the white knight protecting the poor villagers from losing their money. but you idiots are just pushing out honest sellers trying to offer something up for you.

YOU ARE NOT OWED ANYTHING! JUST BECAUSE THEY WONT SEND OUT FREE SAMPLES DOES NOT MAKE THEM A SCAMMER! ESCROW DOES NOT PROTECT YOU ANY MORE THAN, AND IS NOT NEEDED WHEN THE SELLER ACCEPTS PAYMENTS COVERED BY BUYER PROTECTIONS! (Paypal, Credit card, etc).

From what i can tell, this is a group buy for a board made by SOMEONE ELSE. Huawei is a huge Chinese company that makes legitimate products. These guys aren't developing these things, they are just trying to help the smaller guy get around the MOQ. Do you have millions of dollars to spend buying thousands of cards? No? then shut the fuck up. It's Huawei's decision to require bulk purchases, and without a group buy like this, none of the smaller guys would be able to even get their hands on one.

Not trolling at all. Just warning potential buyers about high risk with seller behavior.
Nobody is asking for "free shit". Usually respected members after tests are returning gear back or paying for it.
My first post in Obelisk thread was deleted - I just noted that there are too round numbers projected for the unit, so high risk of fulfilling them. Ask Obelisk owners now.
Supporting shills can freely ignore me. It's not my intention to turn their attention. Buyers should. I owe this to BCT community.

Hello OP,

Tried to PM you but I'm too nooB it seems!!

I have just come across this thread whilst doing some research WRT FPGA Mining.

I am an experienced Electronics Engineer and VHDL developer that specialises in one-offs and prototypes, I am based in the UK.

My company is currently working on a project that involves some high-end Arria 10 FPGAs (Turbo SOM modules from Reflex CES if you're interested),

I figure these should perform pretty well with various hashing algorithms.. (42MiB Onboard RAM and 4GiB external DDR4 Memory) and am currently in the process of producing such a library in VHDL - HOWEVER it really sucks that I am essentially going to be 're-inventing the wheel' in parallel with a load of other devs...

I don't know if you still have any of the Developer VU9P boards available, if so I would be very interested in helping to develop for that instead, or if there is any other way that I can contribute to this project then I would be very interested!

Or if any other HDL developers are interested in working with me then please hit me up!

Have a good weekend,
Cheers,

Ben
