I've been in crypto for approximately a year now, and there have been a few times even throughout that short period where people had professed the end of Bitcoin was near. This is just a bigger version of the common dip, when you look over a period of several years, the effects of this dip will be inconsequential.

I was wondering, are there people here who have been through the previous bear market? Would be nice to hear some stories about the general consensus back then.

Is it the same? Is it worse? Lots of panic? Smiley
I have been in the electronics market since 2014. At that time, investing in electronic money was very good. Campaigns pay very high, the participation time is also shorter. Money is paid very quickly. Now making money is hard, down the coin.

I think that there are a lot of persons that have been in the industry since 2014 and way before, and these people are the ones who have benefitted more from the maarket. It is a sad thing that I didn't get aware of the market in due time, by now, I would have been counting my millions in cryptocurrency.

I just found out about this direction a year ago, and I'm sorry, because I could make a lot of money, I saw it on YouTube, but didn’t pay attention to it.  Undecided

I entered last year fully but had heard at least of bitcoin in 2014, at that time I found it to be something very complicated that only interested programmers, I regret it now because still at that time I could mine some good coins with the modest equipment that I still had.

From what I have heard, back then it was much worse, as it lasted for almost 3 years. The prices dived by almost 85% (from $1230 per coin to $200 per coin). Hope this time it won't be that long.

I think there are thousands of people from 2014, even I have seen someone from 2012 here who is still active. He had mined BTC at that time at a cost of $2 only and still he is holding those. If you visit the Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion, you will find a lot of users from 2012.

I'm only almost a year and a half. But I know about cryptocurrency since about 2014.. I would like also to know from people who were in hard times. Were there bounty hunters back then?
