I strongly believe that this is just temporary and any day bullrun could happen. I think there are also a lot of people waiting for this and are being silent. If the reward coins are just peanuts then hold it till you can fetch some pretty price for it.

Problems in the crypto-currency market, and at the same time with bounty hunters, are temporary. Although earning free tokens participating in the generosity campaigns of ICO has become much more difficult, I think that it is not worth stopping this activity. You choice if you would decide to continue or not as a bounty hunter since you are already aware on the current market condition where making money is already lit and it is not really the same on last years bounty participation when it comes to possible profits. On these recent days bounty campaigns are already on long duration and already without specific time of bounty token distributions and without clearness on if it would be listed on exchangers.

find out good signatures bounties here on bitcointalk (if u are going to post everyday good content)
or stack some coins
and most important thing, hold for the long therm ride, there are a lot of tokens sleeping now, let them there, don't sell for cents!

Bounty hunters should try as much as possible not to limit themselves to bounty alone. If bounty is not profitable, there are other things that can be more profitable and an example of such is trading. If bounty hunters can try as much as possible to learn how to trade, it will definitely be of great help and would prevent over dependency on bounty alone. You can start by earning $10 on daily basis, then you then upgrade gradually.

The way you phrase your post makes it seem as if most bounty hunters are depending on the income that they get out of those campaigns to sustain themselves, and if that is the case, then they are completely responsible of depending in something that was so volatile, however I think you are exaggerating, ethereum is not mortally wounded and it will recover but it will take some time.

The problems that you indicated really exist, and for all the participants in the campaign bounty are really hard times, but personally I'm continuing to participate and I'm waiting for the market to recover and improve the situation.
