So it is absolutely legal and does not require any special permissions from Wargaming. We analyzed a lot of new coins, coming out and community reaction to different features, and desided to change difficulty retarget algo. First, we worked on KGW, it's already coded in, but because of negative responce about it at coin start we changed our decision. Now from start difficulty retarget will be every 60 blocks (about one hour) and later, if needed, we will update code and activate KGW algorithm.
