[Notice] Berith Sidechain Update!!


Berith will be updating the following to support sidechain.


1.   Changing Berith Coin Symbol
Berith uses Ethereum as a sidechain. To distinguish between Berith blockchain and Ethereum blockchain, the coin symbol for Berith coin in Berith blockchain will be BER(BERith) and the token symbol in Ethereum ERC-20 will be BRT.

2.   Swapping Between Bertih Coin and ERC-20 Berith Token
From now on Berith coin BER and Berith token BRT can be exchanged with a 1:1 ratio. To convert from BRT to BER there will be a certain fee in the Ethereum network and to convert from BER to BRT, a predetermined fee will be generated in the Berith network. This is to solve the problem of the payment of Ethereum fee and is inevitably set to prevent malicious attacks by hackers.

3.   Airdrop of the Existing ERC-20 Token
Berith has provided 100% airdrop to those who have converted their ERC-20 tokens to Berith coin (now BER) during ICO. However, there are still some investors who are still in possession of the ERC-20 token. During this update, those who haven’t converted to BER will get 100% airdrop of BRT ERC-20 tokens. A snapshot will be made before airdrop which will be notified to the investors later.

4.   Abolishment of the Previously Used “New Coin Transfer” Function
The “Transfer “function to convert Berith token to Berith coin will no longer be in use from September 17, 2018.
