The Tratok Project’s First airdrop scheduled for October 1st 2018 has been successfully completed**.

More than 658 million Tratok was airdropped to 6986 registered wallets in this milestone achievement for the project. This gives each new holder an average of just over 94148 Tratok Tokens.

The benefits of conducting operations in this way are that it allows early supporters of the project and community members to be rewarded sufficiently for their embracement and backing of Tratok, while at the same time leaving sufficient tokens to ensure widespread adoption over the medium term. This ensures stable release onto the market which will prevent initial oversupply and ensure gradual widespread adoption. In addition, it prevents early adopters hoarding the supply and manipulating the price which would be detrimental to the long-term development goals of the project.

The next airdrop will be in December 2018 (specific date to be announced shortly) at which an additional 1 billion Tratok (1,000,000,000 TRAT) will be airdropped from Tratok Ltd’s holdings to those who register for the airdrop. While the average drop for each registered wallet is likely to be reduced in contrast to the initial airdrop, as we expect significantly more wallets to be registered, late participants and community supporters can earn additional tokens by joining the free referral program.

In addition, the Tratok project’s Chairman will shortly be announcing a listing agreement for TRAT at a major exchange. It is our hope that by creating a secondary market for the utility token, that community interest will be maintained and real-time value can be seen as it is added by project progress, business relationships and additional milestones achieved.

While the community is welcome to do whatever they want with their holdings in the secondary market, I would suggest that those who have faith in the project, its potential and have a longer-term view to be patient and watch as the project reaches more milestones and comes to fruition.

Blockchain has the potential to disrupt and change the face of many sectors and industries. For those who simply want to make a few dollars quickly from speculation without taking the time to read into projects or recognise potential and the importance of time added value, the Tratok Project perhaps is not suitable for you.

This is a project led by team members who have served as CEO's of companies with $100's of billions of assets under management which should make it clear that Tratok Ltd is more interested in the success of this project that simple quick profit or speculation. This is why our feasibility studies lead us to take such an unorthodox strategy. The Tatok Project seeks to change the travel and tourism industry over the medium and long-term and is not just another hype opportunist effort to get on the cryptomania bandwagon. We understand that due to the hype of the industry that there are many who just want to cash out quickly and not look back. In our opinion, this is a very short sighted and regretful approach that will ultimately cause those with a lack of vision to miss out.

I think that few people will sell for such a price. Only people who don't believe the project at all will be ready to go at such prices. I don’t like the concept of this project, but even I wouldn’t sell tokens for such a price mate. This is the behavior of stupid money.

I do not believe that daily communication on telegram as well newsletters sent to all those who registered for the airdrop can count as "silence on all channels". To accuse the team of this is not fair. I believe we have been very direct at communicating with the community, more so than most. We have even asked opinions on polls etc so we could decide how best to prioritize efforts based on the current community demographics. In addition the sheer volume of questions we get from people who signed up for the airdrop without taking 10 minutes to even read about the project, and our patience in answering these shows our commitment to communication and transparency.

Regarding the last week a few things:

• An unscheduled airdrop was conducted to reward genuine members. Many fraudulent and bot generated accounts were caught and their holdings that they would have received by them on the 10 January 2019 were instead distributed to the legitimate accounts in the community.
• Three exchange listings with saw millions of tokens traded in the secondary market by those who got them from airdrops etc.
• Voting started on Mercatox.
• Sumbissions were made to Idex and Hotbit.
• Yobit was sent a paid inclusion application.
• Images from the demo application were released.

These are updates and progress, with a lot more going on behind the scenes which will be announced via our newsletters and telegram as it comes to fruition. We realize that many here want to see hype so TRAT quickly boosts and they can sell their airdropped tokens for a few dollars. Indeed this is what has happened over the previous week, however, we are against this approach and consider this very shortsighted.

We do not care about short-term gains and anyone hoping to quickly. Our intention is for Tratok to be used for its intended purpose for travel and tourism and we are more interested in a community that sees the benefits of this, reads our updates and pays attention to the solutions that Tratok Ltd can provide to existing problems in the industry. It is this kind of support and backing that will make us succeed.

Welcome to the second edition of the Tratok Project newsletter. We have many updates to share concerning the past week much of which is community orientated, so please take a moment to read up on developments and progress. As holders of the token, you are a stakeholder in this project and a part of it and should be informed.


The integrity of the project will continue to be preserved:

An additional 1412 fraudulent accounts and referral program cheaters have been caught. Their intended share of Tratok will be distributed equally among the legitimate accounts. The team at Tratok don’t care about having thousands of extra fake holders just to “pad our stats”. Tratok is meant to be used by real people and we want there to be genuine distribution and a real community, not just the illusion of one.

 

Exchange Progress and secondary trading:

Currently, millions of Tratok has been traded in exchanges such as Etherdelta and Ecex. These listings were made by community members and not the Tratok team. Prices have ranged from the earlier dumpers who sold for as little as 0.000000001 to those who sold for 0.00001000 per token (10000X or 1,000,000% difference!). We believe this behavior shows what happens when people panic and can not think about the bigger picture. The good news is that the community has bought up these dumps which is a testament to the fact that the real community has faith in the project.

Note: It is challenging to understand the logic of some people and how they panic sell without thinking. For example, if you can see a few million tokens selling in the 0.000001000 - 0.000010000 range, why would you then dump 50k tokens for 0.000000060 just to sell them in a second. Had you just patiently waited an hour you would have gotten a price of 0.000001890 or 31.5X (3,150%) higher. Illogical behaviour like this is one of the biggest problems with the industry. In short, there are still selfish individuals who cannot think more than 10 seconds ahead and think too small. Its quite a pity.

Thanks to the open ledgers available, our team know exactly which wallets dumped and they will not be getting any additional Tratok on 10th January 2018. At the same time, those who bought have clearly shown faith in the project and will be allocated more tokens at the next airdrop. We see this as a constructive way to reward those who are truly standing alongside Tratok Ltd and supporting the Tratok Project.
