A few minor developments over the last week:

• 1497 fake accounts registered for the airdrop have been banned. The integrity of this project is serious and will be preserved.
• 1st page of Mercatox has been reached with votes, it appears due to delays in their verification of accounts, the process is taking long. However, achieving the first page in 10 days despite others being there since 2017 is an encouraging sign.
• Paid Yobit listing is still awaiting addition, we have contacted them to ask what is taking so long.
• Tratok was added to the Komodo platform and BaterDex exchange.
• Tratok surpassed the 10,000,000 tokens volume in trading for 4 consecutive days.
• The number of transactions involving Tratok has surpassed 14,000.
• Volatility on the fourth tier exchanges has reduced and the average price is 400% compared to last week.

Looking forward we have negotiated and received agreements from 17 different exchanges ranging in the USD $2m - $60m daily volume range, as well as prices. The funds to cover the listings are available. However, our team is conducting due diligence as it appears many of these exchanges are faking their volumes and we do not wish to give several BTC to frauds and promote such dishonest behavior. This behaviour is wrong and people should boycott these exchanges that simply wish to steal listing fees and deposits.

Our team would also like to hear from the community, regarding what exchanges they use (excluding the first tier, which is obvious) and which exchanges they would like to see Tratok on. Please let us know in this thread.

Welcome to the third edition of the Tratok newsletter.

It has been an interesting week filled with progress and developments which will all come to light in the very near future. The key highlights that are already public knowledge are:

Listing on Mercatox was supposed to take place this week. This was a paid listing which was supposed to occur 2-6 days following receipt of payment. Since TRAT/ETH and TRAT/BTC coins were not listed on Thursday as anticipated, our team has contacted Mercatox to find out why there has been a delay.

Tratok prices and volumes in the 4th tier exchanges have increased consistently over the course of the last two weeks and volatility has reduced as people who simply participated to sell instantly have discarded their holdings. This has been good for the project as firstly, it has allowed others to buy their TRAT for cheap, increasing distribution and secondly it has shown that the sensible money believes in the project.

Tratok Ltd remains committed to fighting fraud and doing things the proper way. It seems there is a misguided element of the community that believes inflation of numbers with the use of bot accounts is constructive. It is not. All it does is clutter the channel, make the project lose credibility and waste time. Numbers mean nothing if they are not real. 1000 genuine users of a platform are much better than 100,000 fake accounts. The same way an exchange with 2 million in genuine volume is better than an exchange with 50m in fake volume. It seems that this is an industry-wide problem but Tratok Ltd will not tolerate this behaviour. The team understands that due to progress, increases in TRAT prices and the growing interest in the community, that people are tempted to try to game the system and have multiple accounts. You are wasting your time. Before the next airdrop occurs, those who dumped, those who tried to make multiple accounts and those who do not follow the project, read the newsletters will have their accounts removed. It is that simple. This project wants only real people who believe in the technology and its potential, not those who simply have unrealistic expectations of turning 1 dollar into 100,000 dollars in a few weeks.

Now some announcements for the community:

Tratok Ltd is launching a 410,000 TRAT prize competition over the next week. To participate is very easy. There is no reason to delay progress. There has been a lot of hard behind the scenes work and in truth, the project is months ahead of schedule. Originally intended for release in May 2019, the platform will be released to the public ahead of schedule before the end of the year. The time for Tratok to be used in its intended role is fast approaching and we cannot wait to empower millions of people to travel the world more efficiently.

In addition, the airdrop originally envisioned for 10th January 2019 will now be happening much earlier. As a result, registration for this final airdrop will close on 10th November 2018 with the airdrop being conducted a few days later.

Multiple benefits which include annihilation of fraud. Time efficiencies but the most important advantage is empowering the stakeholders and giving them control. This is about so much more than reducing 1.5-3.5% that payment processors charge. Tratok not only solves 22 industry problems and introduces more than one dozen improvements. If you are genuinely curious, please go through the project's homepage and read about them. Look at the feasibility studies, read through the project updates. See how this project has evolved to overcome challenges. To name just a few:

No longer will service providers have to wait 90-180 days to get their trade receivables.
No longer will service providers have 30% skimmed from their revenues.
No longer will hotels have their inventory held ransom for years.
No longer will the service provider be forced to set a price and adopt rate parity by Mafia-style middlemen.
No longer do clients not even know the price they will be charged.
No longer will clients have to wait months for refunds and lost the majority of the funds.

Tratok is a well thought out project led by a team of real calibre and business experience that put products over promises. Unlike many who simply launched ICO's and are months behind schedule while enjoying the public's money and making a mockery of the business, this internally funded project is 8 months ahead of schedule, has actually spent on the community (airdrops, paid listings etc). Tratok does things right. Its a shame many others do not follow the same principles of integrity and realism.

Therein lies the biggest problem with the blockchain. Many get into the hype without taking the time to actually read and understand a project and its goals. They have unreasonable expectations of getting something for free in an airdrop and being millionaires a week later. Its pure stupidity and the biggest plague to projects trying to make a difference. Rather than show interest in real projects that have real value, they are interested in pump and dump "WHEN MOON" scams and trying to fraud people. It is pathetic quite frankly and the honest members of the community should be doing more to combat this.

Why would there need to be an ICO. The founders have adequate funding to realise the project's goal. Why should and honest project take money from the public when it is not needed? The simple fact is, it doesn't take 40m USD to develop a project like Tratok. Few of these projects even need a fraction of the cost if they are run properly. But many are not run properly. Instead of focusing on business and products and real-world application, they are busy driving those nice cars that they duped the public into paying for.

If many were actually more focused on delivering their products rather than spending investor money and ripping people off, public opinion would be much higher. Unfortunately, due to these poor practices, it is not.

Travel is a very competitive industry and many others have tried and failed.  What are your plans that make it more likely that you will succeed?

I would like to refer you back to earlier comments and points made in the thread:

While I do not wish to comment on the success or accomplishments (or lack of such) from specific other projects, I can understand why a lot of them have failed to realize their goals.

A.) How many of these teams have invested their own capital and time into conducting feasibility studies with industry experts to see if the project makes financial sense and if it can add value?

B.) How many of these teams have sat down and captured the requirements of all of the stakeholders so that from day one they can already set up a framework and understand the most effective way to lay the foundation to solve these problems and any future complications that might arise?

C.) Look at the team composition. Do the profiles say things like industry expert, or do they actually state where these people have worked, what they have achieved, the size of the revenues generated? If people are hiding backgrounds or being brief with details, there is a reason for it.

D.) Do the team members possess the necessary connections in the industry to facilitate the project’s goals? Can they open the right doors?

E.) Does the team have a risk management model which has been used to stress test the industry so that it can form contingency plans for worst-case scenarios? E.g. A recession.

F.) Does the team have a plan to ensure wider spread adoption of its products?

G.) Are the team’s fortunes tied to the success of the project? Is there a safety net to simply stop them dumping their token on investors and then not care anymore? Are they actually passionate about the industry they wish to disrupt?

Tourism is considered by many people. It accounts for a large share of the GDP of any country. However, I agree with you that it takes a lot of time and effort to achieve a successful project. Keep track of them and wish them good luck.
