bitfish Bangkok Launch

It began with a spirited dance performed by the bitfish team. Sathorn Bangkok, Sept 10, 2018 — the bitfish office is hard at work after celebrating its launch party a couple of weeks ago on August 25th.

bitfish — a project designed around staking to secure blockchains was founded by Chun Wang a co-founder of F2Pool, David Knott a Plasma researcher for OmiseGO, and Mia Liu a serial entrepreneur who founded Mia-Mia Management.

The launch was intimate with around 50 guests gathered in the bitfish office to celebrate. Friends of the founders including Zhao Guofeng (CEO, Huobi Korea) and Jun Hasegawa (Founder and CEO, OmiseGO) gave congratulations to Chun, David, and Mia, wishing them well on their new endeavor. Chun told the story of how he ventured into the world of Bitcoin mining and David followed it up by laying out what bitfish is trying to achieve, which is, in essence: to incentivize action through collateralization, at first via staking. Towards the end of the event, bitfish announced plans to host blockchain meetups as a way of giving back to the crypto community and they're already walking the talk having hosted an ETHBKK meetup on August 31st.

As Proof-of-Stake emerges so to will bitfish and now that they've launched, they're heads down building.
