Hi guys.
If the crypto will ever rise again (which i highly doubt will ever happen), in your opinion what is the total market cap they will reach ?
I do think that if they will ever rise again and not just disappear, they could go to around 2 trillion dollar before bursting again.
What are your opinions about?

i think so, I think what you say can be happened, even if the bitcoin ETF has been accepted by SEC, it can exceed what you expect |

Total market capitalization has plummeted since the beginning of this year to below $ 200 billion, the lowest level in 2018. With the current market capitalization will not increase rapidly in the near future, I think there will be another step down before the market recovery. To get sustainable growth we need more good news to support the market |

Even though I'm very very bullish on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, I'd always like to have a realistic point of view. While in theory the marketcap can rise to multi-trillion dollars, at the same time it could also drop down to only a few million.
Anyway, why do you doubt that crypto will rise again?

As it seems to me a year, maybe even two, the crypto currency will fall. One of the reasons is that the market could throw off illiquid ICO projects. The second reason is to throw off a large number of participants who own a cryptocurrency. Well, the third reason why you should postpone the crypto currency boom is that today's products developed in projects will be ready in about two years.

"Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong predicts the number of people in the cryptocurrency ecosystem to grow from the current 40 million to 1 billion in the next five years" you can find news about this literally everywhere, you can also find news about how they double their staff to be prepared for this growth.
I follow news and what happening on the market, reality is that things doesn't look so good now, market suffered a lot since last all times high, more I think about all that I always try to remember how people felt 2013 after fist huge drop in price, right after that 1200 dollars. Situation is far from same, now there are much more people, bitcoin is more popular, we have some countries adopted bitcoins. We will get trough this, measure of a greatness is not how we behave and fell in good times, it's how we handle when things around are hard, so hang on and don't lose faith.

Yes the market cap I think will be higher because of the knowledge of cryptocurrency is higher now and people understand how to use, handle, function with it and make appropriate transfers. Meaning we are unlikely to withness losses of coins in future compared to the past when often times, coins are sent to wrong wallet or passwords are lost which in all result to shortage of coins or tokens and that affects market cap. |

Idk but why we're talking here a trillion dollars marketcap? Why don't we just have a more realistic view like surpassing first a 300 billion dollar marketcap so that we can all have decent gain.
We should rather spreading good vibes in the community and stop trolling as it just made people go crazy and sell like there's no tomorrow. Despite of everything that happen, I'm still optimist towards cryptos and not even thinking to withdraw my investment. This season is really a do or die, and seems many had died.  |

Fraudulent ICOs selling out their Ether have had a huge impact on ETH price recently. All in all, I believe Ethereum is a great coin that'll shake off this ICO shitcoins' connections and will get back on its track. |

Right now we had a $108,264,795,271 USD market cap, Well back then a billion market cap was on a 5 years mark, I guess it will suddenly burst again in a 5 years more, a trillion market cap isn't really possible, And I really think when the price of bitcoin jump to the $28,000 mark we could see that the market cap raise even further, We already know the possible result of the market the outcome of the market cap of bitcoin cap reach even trillions, But for now next years market cap will be another all time high it could reach $200,000,000,000 USD next year.

A trillion dollar. We came close around $800 M if I'm not mistaken so let's try to breach that one and see how it goes. But it seems you are contradicting your own statement here? You doubt crypto will rise but they you are asking what will be the total market cap that it can reach? Currently, the market is suffering but it doesn't mean in can go and bounce back again in about a year or two. |

I think that before the New Year the price can rise to 10000. I think already in October the growth of Bitcoin and the entire market will begin. Also, Ethereum can recover part of its price.

That is what I look at first before reading all the post. Have the same question or just bumping this. Why doubt it and yet you are here? Or is it just a wrong kind of a sentence? Maybe a lot of negativity really happened and that is the cause of your doubt. Including Buterin's great speculation. But do remember this. It is all speculation and no one can control thr market. A new player might come and we dont know how much he will be betting for the crypto world. |

The world's gold is around 7 trillion, so I would expect Bitcoin at least to hit that number, if not more.

No doubt about it. It exceeds, overlysold like they want everyone to sell their ETH. There are die hard fans out there that still holding over a million ETH in their wallets and yet they were expecting those guys to dump when they got these ETH for cents. New comers in crypto hated so much the early investors for being too early but since they got the money, they can all try everything even pull the price down to $25. |

I don't know why you said it will go about 2 trillion but I think it will continue to grow until people left to adopt to the crypto currency.But the market capitalization is the real growth of the crypto currency? we need to remember that the fiat were undergo inflation day by day so today's value of market capitalization will be less valued if it remain same tomorrow or few months after.

Why don't you think it will rise again? I'm quite optimistic we'll see another new high in the coming years. I expect the next bullrun to bring Bitcoin to $50K (about 9-10x from current price) so with rough esstimation I'd expect about $2 Trillion USD with Bitcoin marketcap around $1 Trillion. I don't think it's impossible because even Apple marketcap is over $1 Trillion now. Bitcoin should be well over that, like 5-10x of that value. |
