Brazil’s Avaí Football Club to follow the French soccer giant Paris Saint-Germain football club (PSG).   It is to be recollected that the French soccer giant Paris Saint-Germain football club (PSG) recently announced their own cryptocurrency with complete initial coin offering.

Avaí FC partnered with Sporty Co, a sports investment ecosystem.  Blackbridge, the blockchain based football investment firm will be raising funds from across the world via its ICO. The goal of the firm is to raise $20 million in sale.

The cryptocurrency of Avai will be a new utility token.  This is called the Avaí FC Token.  This has been specifically designed for the use of the football club.  Fans from all parts of the world will be a part of this new journey.

Avaí FC Token focuses on updating itself with the latest trends and technology; thereby, becoming a very interactive club for its society.

Avai is the first soccer team to officially launch its digital token across the world.  This move will bridge the gap between the Fintech Industry and the grassroot sport by making use of blockchain technology.

The quoted financial value for the Avaí FC Token will be exchanged in Ether/
Etherum.  The public offering of the newly created crypto currencies in ICOs will be paid using Ethereum.  This will eventually help the company raise funds for the execution of its projects, from around the world.

I understand the concept and business model of SportyCo fully there everything is pegged with SPF tokens and that makes sense. In my opinion it would be better and more convenient that instead of every club having an own token, they'd use the SportyCo platform for their crowdfunding/ICO campaign. Maybe at some point they could have some kind of own "sub-token" of SPF within the SportyCo system. This would probably require a lot of development since to my understanding SPF should then be an own token/coin independent from ERC-20.

Sure, the first campaigns on SportyCo weren't that successful, but it's still early and one big hurdle for a greater adoption just is that it is way too complicated for most people to get SPF to invest. The possibility to directly exchange fiat to SPF would greatly help and is in my opinion one of the necessary requirements for success. Then of course this whole topic is so new that people need to see first that this actually works and that they can get a decent return for their investments. This will take time.

However, the co-operation with AVAI is still good PR for SportyCo even if AVAI's ICO turns out to be a failure (sorry I'm rather pessimistic).

Good PR will also help for adoption. If you guys keep going and constantly improving and working, I'm sure SportyCO will be a success. It just takes time, after all you are pioneers on this sector.

1) You will have direct access to the AVAI TokenStore (merchandise), the AVAI Token Tickets (match tickets) and the AVAI Token Special Experiences (being present at half time talks / dinner with players etc)

2) You will in a way become a supporter of Avai FC football club and try to help them become a regular and hopefully dominant football team in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. If Avai FC is able to buy new players, upgrade their facilities and as a result become a stable team in the Série A, naturally their match-day revenues (tickets) will increase as will the demand for Avai FC merchandise (shirts etc) + the special AVAI experiences. This is a basic overview of the supply/demand factor within the AVAI token ecosystem. In other words, the more successful Avai FC becomes the more demand there will be for the AVAI token as their fanbase increases.

3) 30% of all AVAI Tokens that will be redeemed/exchanged on the Platform (either through AVAITokenStore, the AVAITokenTickets or the AVAITokenSpecialExperience) will be burn't on a quarterly basis.
