Since this is your only post that you have ever produced on this forum you may understand my skepticism when there is a particular word lacking from your OP: "Escrow". Particularly, are you willing to accept escrow for this transaction? Your account was created 3-minutes prior to posting this, so I would highly suggest everybody considering this deal to exercise extreme caution. Do not perform a transaction on this forum without a reputable escrow.

Additionally, are you able to upload a picture of the item with your username and the date alongside it to prove that it is indeed in-hand?

You may want to review this topic Guidelines for [WTS], considering it appears you are likely here to use the marketplace. It covers a lot of the things Bill mentioned and a few others.

I would also like to ad a warning regarding buying hardware wallets second hand. I'm not sure what sort of tamper proof packaging could be on the inside of the box to prove it has never been opened. Last year though there were cases of theft involving hardware wallets having previously been compromised before being sold.

Any purchase of hardware wallets NOT from official manufacturers these are risks for the buyer.

I recall: 100% guarantee of safety only from official manufacturer.

To answer first question I don’t know what ESCRO is, I guess that is a US thing?

To answer the other questions the Trezor is still boxed unopened and the sellophane wrapping the device from new is still untouched wrapping the device.

I bought a Trezor Model T so didn’t see the need to open the Trezor 1

I was just advised this would be a good place to sign up regarding bitcoins and other crypto currency, and this would also be an idea of where to post my device for sale.

Hindsight being a wonderful thing, I can see why being a new member and posting something for sale could come across a bit sketchy, so on that note I understand if nobody here wants to buy it.  I guess it’s always best to gain trust and a rappor before trying to sell an item in a new place you haven’t been on for a while.  So no offence taken.

Still not sure what ESCROW is to trust that but yeah I could easily take a photograph with time/date/photo and picture of the untouched device.

Escrow is offered by people like me.

say 100 pound item  buyer sends me 102 pounds

seller ships gear
buyer gets gear
buyer says gear is good

escrow agent  send 100 pounds to sell keeps a 2 pound fee

why trust me I handled a lot of deals and no one was fucked over their gear or money.

you can read my track record here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=64507

we always advise  buyer use escrows  with new sellers like you

this is a good list of escrow agents

I own 3 of these wallets and also have one sealed for later use.  they are pretty good but some people have mishandled the firmware updates and lost coins.

I am really careful when I update them.

I would not escrow them for sellers  or sell my own sealed one for fear a "dummy" botches the firmware update and loses their coins.

it is a simple procedure to protect the coins if you have a firmware update to do.

I just transfer the coins to a few other wallets.

leave a tiny bit in the wallet to be updated then do the firmware update.

I have always been able to get the updates done correctly but if it does not work I have almost zero money in the wallet.

Do you think it would be good practice to keep it then

Useless...Ledger Nano's are a lot safer than Trezors. Trezors are superseded products!
