Do you know how they were able to access your wallet?  You were lucky to only lose $200, but I'd now be paranoid about your entire computer and things like undetectable keyloggers, trojans, or other things on your network.  Secure your system...

It's probably you are very poor, and he decided to leave you at least some kind of kapeck, that you would not be so upset. Kind hacker.

Not the fact that the hacker was poor, most likely he was pursuing the goal of transferring certain coins, but just gas was not enough!

I think he may take the token that is easy to sell, but if he have high skill he should take all the contents inside the wallet. Or maybe there is another purpose that we don't know but clearly people like this will get karma. May we always be careful because if we are already working hard and token being hacked it's really sad.

So you assume the hacker was poor based on the coins he stole from your wallet?
If you had 1 million ETH,the hacker probably would be a rich one. Grin
I'm sorry that you were hacked, but the hacker's wealth doesn't matter. All the hackers are kinda "poor".If they had a stable legit income, they wouldn't  deal with scamming people and other illegal stuff.

It becomes the hackers of people push the same motives as in crypto, first of all it is a lack of money. Hackers are the same people as us, but they grew up in a different environment.

I think the hacker don't have any idea how to set optimum gas limit and gwei. If the hacker only know, then not a single dollar worth of crypto would be left or even all the shitcoin in your wallet will be stolen for a little amount of eth.

You don't understand, the hackers or so-called thieves will take anything as long as they have a way to take it. 200$? How about I tell you a real-life story about a thief for a mere 5$.

I once got hacked too. But probably because I got fished by a ether delta or my ether wallet scam site. I entered my private key and someone stole all of my tokens
Lucky I only got a few ethos tokens that were worth less than 100€ at the time....my only consolation is that those tokens are now worth like 10 dollars ahahah so, in the end the hacker got rek't by my tokens. I am much more aware now, of websites and phsihing sites

Sounds funny but i think the hacker might be poor, due to he is stealing something in an illegal way, but it will made him rich if he hacks a lot of account. But if you are trying to say that he was a poor based of what he done, his gonna pay it in the hereafter and suffer what he stole here.

Sorry for your loss. But the fact that you were robbed for amount of $200 doesn't mean this hacker is poor - what if he has one Ethereum address with $200 hacked in a day monthly he will have $6000. One Bitcoin in month, that is not "poor" income. So don't count hacker's money - maybe better spend time to increase the security of your assets

There are many of these "poor" scumbag hackers out there.
In the end karma will get them.
is there evidence that karma will work on the internet? You are hacked because ignorance and self-blame leave something vulnerable to hacking without protection.

Poor hacker or not, a thief would always be a thief.

Lucky you that you don't have millions of ETH on your wallet.

]is there evidence that karma will work on the internet? You are hacked because ignorance and self-blame leave something vulnerable to hacking without protection.
Negligence of the OP can be pointed out but a hacker is always a hacker and karma is everywhere.

Not a bad loss, but still it's a loss. Maybe that hacker havks many wallets and not just yours so havking $80 is not bad for him also. Next time be careful in opening your wallet because there are many people who always want to leverage on our accounts.

It's very sad, it is necessary to take any action, and suddenly you were there millions? You would have lost your money. No matter how much money was not on the wallet, as soon as there is danger of cracking, it is necessary to change the wallet or any other act for the preservation of their money.

There is actually no other way to access someone's wallet unless the owner ignorantly ended up leaving it vulnerable and in that case, it can make it a lot easy for anyone to gain entrance into the wallet. I think so many people usually end up being a victim of a phishing attack, or probably, ended up being a victim of malware and all these is the reason why people should always try as much as possible to stay secured, so they do not end up being a victim.

It's probably you are very poor, and he decided to leave you at least some kind of kapeck, that you would not be so upset. Kind hacker.
I have never really seen any kind hacker unless it is just some hacker who really wants to just play with you or have fun with your emotions after already stealing chunk away from you. Moreover, the wallet actually becomes vulnerable as long as the hacker already have an access to it, so the best way is to simply abandon the wallet and go open a new one to start making use of. I wonder why someone would steal $80 out of $200 when he could have the chance to steal everything. Something sounds vague to me here though.
