I mistakenly sent BTC to BCD wallet, is that possible to retrieved my BTC from BCD wallet?

 

Anyone ever experienced the same thing with me?

It sucks, because it's quite a lot for me.

I haven't tried that but I'm fairly certain that the coins are lost. You can't simply move a BTC address into a BCD wallet and get spendable balance. If that was possible you could increase your BTC balance by sending forked coins to BTC addresses.
It won't hurt to try importing the receiving address to a BCD wallet and checking for yourself though.
Can you find the transaction using the BCD explorer and show it to us?

That's simply false. If we use your logic, we could say that every time someone sends BCH to a BTC wallet, the coins are lost because if it was possible, we could send 1 BCH (~$455) to a BTC wallet and increase your BTC balance (from ~$455 to ~$6520). He's just sending BTC to an address which is (probably[1]) valid in both chains, but can't see the BTC because the wallet is configured to use the BCD chain.

@OP: did you sent the coins to a BCD wallet that you own? Or to a friend/exchange/website address? If you own the wallet, export the private-key and import it into a Bitcoin wallet (such as Electrum).

[1] probably because I'm not aware of the differences between BCD and BTC. But I doubt there are many (it's most likely just like BTC and BCH).

Sending coins to a forked chain doesn't give you a balance on that chain (with the notable exception of a fork that hasn't implemented replay protection, because then it gets messy, heh).  As far as BCD's network is concerned, no transaction has taken place.  It can't see those coins the OP has mistakenly sent.  So there's no possibility of duplicating them.  

The BTC chain, however, knows that the coins have been sent to an address format it recognises (again, assuming BCD didn't screw around with that).  So if you can retrieve the private keys to spend from that address, the BTC chain will treat it as a normal transaction.

we can start by at least knowing who controls private key of the BCD wallet

@OP: did you sent the coins to a BCD wallet that you own? Or to a friend/exchange/website address? If you own the wallet, export the private-key and import it into a Bitcoin wallet (such as Electrum).

if this is the case, an address (BCD) that you control its private key, the recovery would be easy
but if you sent to a deposit address of an exchange or an online (custodian) wallet,
then it will be quite harder as you will have to depend on their cooperation to recover it

I'm pretty sure it's retrievable because OP wouldn't have been able to send Bitcoin to an address the network can't recognize in the first place. Also did a quick check on BCD's blockchain explorer and they do use the same format still.

You only really have to follow DooMAD's instructions, which is basically to claim forked coins in reverse lol. Here are step-by-step instructions, just in case:

• Retrieve the private key of the Bitcoin Diamond address you sent the coins to
• Import that private key to any Bitcoin wallet that lets you import private keys (Electrum, etc.)
• You should be able to take control of a Bitcoin address with the coins you sent by mistake, and you may want to send the funds to a more secure wallet

If you don't have the Bitcoin Diamond private key, you're kinda screwed. You can still contact support of whatever wallet you're using though and wish for the best.

Luckily, I still didn't as I always made sure that I'm clicking the right address. I just wonder what exchange site or wallet did you use as I know that there's a pop up notification in which address. Plus you can differentiate what is a bitcoin address from bitcoin diamond address.

I am sending btc to OKEX mate, i have contact through their support. But they said, they need to look my transaction on their ledger or something. But it have been 1 month, still there is no new information regarding my transaction

There is nothing you can do. They are literally the only ones that can recover your BTC.

Youtube isn't the best resource. A lot of scammers promote phishing sites there. If you need any help about claiming forks (or coins sent to the wrong chain), you may as well try searching here or ask a question yourself.

Absolutely agreed with you mate, i am trying to push them by giving 20% of my total btc needed to be retireved. Still i think my case just low priorty for them

That being said, I don't think they'll be giving you the private key for this address. They're likely going to send you the Bitcoin back to some other address, if they ever get around to helping you.

OKex is an exchange platform, isn't it?
so if they retrieved your BTC they will most likely just credit/add it into your OKex's BTC balance
the problem is they have to manually retrieve it and their system is not built for such incident
they (customer supports) need someone with higher access authorities to do it, as it's very sensitive security matter
