A news alert today remind me that I would really appreciate it if whoever pickup my ~0.99 BTC at Cryptsy kindly send it back. I worked very hard to accumulate this with a modest GPU miner at the time. I am on a fixed income (LTD) and could really use it. Thanks for caring.

Are you suggesting someone individually ran off with your money, that cryptsy did (AFAIK owner ran off), or is there news/a settlement I'm not aware of?

Is the "Cryptsy" that you're referring to is the one that filed bankruptcy last year? This one?

If that's the one, you're probably out of luck. You're a year late.

I´m sorry to say. But Cryptsy is down more than year now.
Never hold your coins at exchange. You can trust only to yourself. Hold your coins only at your personal wallet in future.
I use exchanges only to buy or sell. Never for holding.

Sorry to say, but you are a year late. Only one yiu can chase now is the CEO of cryptsy, Paul Vernon, but he fled to China.

I hope it is a lesson learn for you from keeping your btc in exchange. Only the owner of cryptsy can return your 0.99 btc to yourself. Always keep your btc in your own wallet not in exchange sites.

you are a year late.
Copied and you just made it "you are" so it won't be the same as this one and please avoid doing that I'm telling you this as to remind you or serve as warning that you might be banned in most cases.

You're a year late.

It is very weird.
Many speculated that owner ran off with the money. What is truth? Noone really knows for sure, but topic author apparently is very desperated.
Hope you will get your money.

There was a class action lawsuit against him AFAIK; and a settlement was determined by a judge. But yea he ran off, I don't believe he has any intention of giving that money back.

I missed it for a while and by the time I found out about it, I was too late. I don't even know what I had in my Cryptsy account (and probably will never know)

Trust me I knew better than to leave coins on exchange but not a lie about disability etc. I had to have surgery and then some serious complications so I had other things on my mind around that time. I did store my LTC bag at "home" and could have sworn I took out my BTC but after looking at old wallet etc I see I didn't and yeah it was funneled into bigger wallet. What remind me was the news about "someone" moving a large amount of BTC lately. I know that isn't "new" news but for whatever reason this particular news reminded me about cryptsy. Where did all those BTC go? You can still trace them can you not? I have an address where my ~1 BTC was moved to. It wasn't small.

I also had some old school FTC etc on there I think but can't remember anymore.

Here is the address my BTC from cryptsy moved to, it might actually help. I would love to see these bottom dwellers rot in jail or worse TBH.

Total Received      53985.44326805 BTC
Total Sent               53985.44326805 BTC
Final Balance    0 BTC
No. Transactions    3421

That's a lot of $. (~323,910,000 at 6000 USD).
