So KYC is a requirement for all customers on your exchange? How do you expect us to just blindly trust you with such personal data, especially when there are already way more established exchanges out there? What makes it lucrative/worth the "risk" to use your exchange is basically what i'm wondering?

Your fee schedule says 0.3%, but when you go to https://geniuex.com/crypto_station & reculcate the amount of BTC you get for 200$ (roughly 196.2$ = 2% in fees).

which is roughly the same as established exchanges (Bitstamp et al charge 2% for a withdrawal.)

Thanks for your comment, let’s begin by discussing KYC.  As a European licensed fiat-to-cryptocurrency exchange, we are required by law to gather information on our clients to prevent money laundering and other criminal acts. These measures are not only required by the regulators, but also the banks we work with.  We don’t expect you to blindly trust us, which is why we take information security (TSL, SSL) very seriously and also strictly comply with GDPR regulations to ensure that client data is not only protected, but also not sold to outside parties.

To answer your question about, “why Geniuex” instead of the other, more well-known exchanges, we believe it comes down to customer service.  Why wait weeks or months for compliance approval to begin buying cryptos with your fiat?  Some exchanges take upwards of two months to approve compliance documents.  With us you can have it done in a matter of hours or days depending on your selection.
