Mastercard has created a blockchain solution, which, according to the company, can significantly improve b2b transactions in the enterprise environment of big trading volumes.
The newly designed system is described in a series of filings submitted by the company in early spring, which were disclosed a few days ago by the
USPTO. According to one of the applications, creators point out that currently existing systems for end-to-end payment management badly scale with the modern needs of businesses.
Developers in Mastercard believe that there has to be introduced a unified transaction platform, which would facilitate more efficient b2b transactions. In addition, the company believes that
blockchain innovations or any kind of virtual ledger would ideally solve the issue with the platform for b2b transactions.
