but they are supposed to be random, or is someone trying to use captchas to influence people?

The captchas with me, sometimes disappear after I click on them.
Sometimes I have to fill in Captachas several times, up to 5, 6 or 7 times, until the captcha is confirmed.

These captchas killed Rapidshare, the biggest file hosting site in the world, so yeah, they were pretty tough.

Yeah I know this guy, he got his 5 minutes of worldwide fame.
I don't think this captcha is coincidence, looks like they have some kind of memes dictionary as one of their sources for text

these captchas are a nightmare as well

The worst Captchas are those showing you nine photos and ask you to pick related photos. That one was really survival of the fittest.
