One of the major aims of manipulators is to ensures that price drops and thus buy massively at low all these is done to achieve their personal gain and profits to the detriment of other hodlers, and this had been discouraging potential investors due to the uncertainty of the market and instability of the price at the of  manipulation.

Of course money. They want that they could earn money the way exactly as you have said. I just don't know how these things could happen because if you are going to look at how the market is really going up or down matters. Pretty much true and these manipulators are no one but the private investors to whom we also call as big whales. They mostly have the volume in their control because they have huge loads of coins or either money in their pocket and both of these can be used to drive the market in the right direction for their own benefits. When we see their benefit then its the general investors who get robbed in reality. For example, whales might just dump huge load and thus lower the values of the currency and in turn it may happen that you will sell your last dime in the hope that you will recover your losses but at the same time a whale is happy person who thinks he is buying at cheapest rates. This is one of the truths. Most of these whales just want to buy and let people panic sell. Such a great policy of capitalism we have indeed, even here in crypto market. How can we really avoid these kind of things when even the Top 1 Coin on CoinMarketCap is being manipulated to manipulate all other coins? I would really not like this thing but they say that are just 'regular occurences' but I don't think its a 'regular' coincidence for this year.

I will try to think positively, I hope manipulators reduce asset prices aiming to get small investors like me and after getting small investors at the lowest prices the manipulators raise prices.

Well, that depends on how smart the smaller investors are, but as crazy as it sounds, small investors are always the ones who panic easily rather than buying the dips, and then when the market is in a state where it keeps going up, they start buying instead and joining FOMO in the process. The market is highly speculative and there is no doubt about that, which would always make it easy for the manipulators, but it is always better to know that irrespective of these manipulations, the future is still intact and that is what you should be placing your focus on.

Making traders feel uncertainty is the essence at which the manipulation comes into play in the first place. More like trying to scare away the weak hands in the market to dump so they can buy a whole lot lower, or at the same time, trying to instigate FOMO so that some greedy investors who want to get rich overnight will hop into the front of the moving train and then squash their hope.

All is about the whales making profit over emotions in the market and with the crypto market that is decentralized, it just make that seems so easy.

I have watch some altcoins order books which I trade, It makes me scared and at times will have to spend 3 hrs monitoring the market. They will bring on a fake sell order for you to think the market is going to dump real bad, immediately you sell out of fear for the hope of buying high, boom that is it, the market pumps. Other times, they set fake buy orders in several prices and one will think, wow! is going to shoot up real well, but after a  while when buy volumes are enough to take profit, they offload, and there you go, they just took the profit. I have learnt never to follow the whales, when I get suspicious I stay off the market holding my bitcoin till the market is settled. Manipulators are dangerous in this space. Although they are found everywhere.

they want personal gain. by selling all the assets they have when prices rise, they get big profits and then the price is dumped. they buy again when the price is cheap in large quantities, and make the price back at the pump and they sell it again.

I believe that the current drop in prices will only benefit the market in the long term. The hype of last year only attracted a huge number of scammers and brought turmoil to the market. I think after this year the situation will stabilize.

yes you are right about your idea of these manipulators if there is, but at some point they believe in the future of cryptocurrencies that is why they keep on coming back as soon as the price drops and volumes thins

I don't even believe that manipulators would be doing whatever they are doing because they believe in cryptocurrency or that, they are already manipulating because they believe in it. I think it is just a business idea for them which is necessitated by also hodling a or some coins, or having other interest in cryptocurrency.

They want to make money from cryptocurrency not only by investing but also by raising some level of panic to catch on such advantage.

Manipulators are obviously making the price of cryptocurrency to drop even more in order for them to invest a huge amount, that is the reason you should not sell your coins today.
