I am a longtime holder, but recent crypto bear months taught me some valuable lessons.  There are a lot of money to be made on trading.  Crypto is still on early phase that we should take advantage to experiment more rather than just let the coins sit on the wallet.  At least we can split our investments into halves, half into trading and half on savings and staking.

I look for opportunities in every market situations and circumstances.  My first rule about cryptocurrency is holding.  You never know what might become very successful. Holding gives you opportunities in the future of any cryptocurrency you are holding!

If you hold the coin  for a long time which price is very low, it will take more to pump. Do short term trading and try to increase the number of coin so that if price later pump, you can make a good profit from that coin.

To be an active trader you need to have a lot of knowledge and experience, and it is not always possible to predict how the market will go. I prefer to keep perspective coins.

Some guys hold for years and some are day traders but both not worked for me so I decided to do marginal trade and that works pretty much for me. Previously I got 160 tokens from a bounty campaign and I was able to increase the amount to 1000+ tokens after month.

I gain experience in day trading. Of course - it is difficult to guess when to buy and when to sell - the probability of guessing is not very high. However, when the market falls, there is only one way out - to save money, you have to earn money on day trading. Often it turns out not bad.

Although I've joined this world for a long time but I'm still a holder only. LOL. I'm not good at trading although I'd tried to learn so day trading is impossible for me although it's a really good way to get profit in this world. Holding is much safer but it also take a lot of time but it's fine cause I have a lot of time. LOL

Interested in peoples' trading styles now that we've been in a bear market for a while. Do you still believe in HODLing to another all time high? Or are you looking for other ways to make $$ during the market downturn?
Holder and short term investor are my kind of habits followed in this bear market, but many people will be just holder or the panic seller because they might not know much aout trading or the crypto currencies, holding is a good strategy but if you are panic selling menas you are losign your capital.

I was planing to hold at first, but I check the price every time I turn on the phone
when it 30% up, I nearly sold all of them.
sometime I regret, but sometime I take the best profit.
a lesson to learn. if you are going to hold, never check the price, just put an alarm to notice when it reach the target

now is the time to buy. and hold till the bull market. as a trader i am in between. scalping during this bull time is the best way to accumulate more of the coins/tokens or to earn more dollars.

I do everything but i have to admit that due to such elongated bears in the market i have been stuck in most of my investments and trades so now i cannot do much but wait for recovery.

Agree with you, it is very hard to be active trader, that`s why I prefer to hold good coins.
