There many technology to come and once they are on the old goes away like you trying to say but bitcoin is a digital currency that is used to trade and exchange of value while we have alts too which is the second way to transfer the value to each other I don't see btc becoming obsolete in 10years time but will be much stronger as the time for useful is yet to come and the number of user are still very low to the general population.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Yes that is the truth, bitcoin will not last forever there are no things in this world that will last forever ,it will be replace with a new one , like the generation of human it changes as the decades come to an end , so for this bitcoin , when the time it will be gone ,there would be a new technoloy that would replace for this current technology, and could be more than bitcoin.

this forum still attracts people unable to get the reality.
That can be said about you as well. It seems that regardless of what the argument is, you write Bitcoin off each and every time. If one thing has become clear lately, that's the wrong thing to do.

On the other hand, yes, people indeed like to think way ahead of themselves in terms of Bitcoin's potential, but it's not entirely unrealistic. Stacking layers on top of Bitcoin and any other crypto seems to be the way to go.

The layers running in top of Bitcoin will be able to provide convenience, speed, extremely low fees, and so forth. The only obstacle based on that is the volatility this market as a whole suffers from.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

It's highy likely that Bitcoin will be replaced with a more superior crypto. And it's okay, because everyone knows that Bitcoin's code and overall implementation aren't perfect.

Yes we know that there was ending. Bitcoin is just like love that has ups and down, and also we both all know that nothing last forever. All things in the world has an ending. Maybe now bitcoin is dropping next year bitcoin will go up. And someday we will have a new currency something like bitcoin and we will forget bitcoin and that is the start of shutting down.

I believe on the same thing though as to when it can culminate nobody can be sure. Bitcoin is the pioneering one and that paved the way for many of its own competitors in the market and we know that it has some limitations and many challenges...soon there can be one cryptocurrency that might be replacing it but of course we still don't know which can it be. Ethereum which is considered as a possible heir has its own many limitations and problems as well. Let's just hope that the one to be replacing Bitcoin is near-perfect and more suited to the present and future market needs.

nothing will last forever in this world, every product and service will obsolte in the future, and how to solve this problem? i think we need an innovation to replace the old one, so we can see that the innovation will give the big changes for the older product

Like all digital technology, it is unquestionable that sooner or later bitcoin will have to be replaced by a superior technology, just as in the past we saw many devices become obsolete when at the time seemed insurmountable, such as CDs or PCs.

Obviously this will happen in a gradual way, but I do not believe that bitcoin can retain its current dominance for more than ten years before starting to fall into disuse, although perhaps its influence could persist in the market about ten years.

In the end, bitcoin is likely to subsist for many years, but by then it will have evolved in such a way that it will be virtually unrecognizable for today’s standards, and in fact it is difficult that in 15 years there is something similar to the current cryptocurrencies before the spectacular advances in digital technology that are approaching.

I do not agree since I know that Bitcoin will last forever, but it would really depend if it will be still valuable to people to use it. It will last but the value depends on the people.

Nothing in this world can last forever, but bitcoin will last in the long run. I have never thought about when bitcoin will end, and I am more interested in the benefits generated by bitcoin.

As of the moment, we are not sure if bitcoin will not run in the future. Indeed that everything now is keep on replacing a much better things but I believe since there are no traces and clues that bitcoin will be replace by other, I will keep on holding to bitcoin no matter what and enjoy its benefits to me.

I am not aware too much that bitcoin will not forever but in fact i do keep have a lot of faith and trust on how all cryptocurrencies working in and out and improving day by day and as a matter of fact also we do know all cryptocurrencies recognizing as a main coin of all crypto currencies in that way we can see all the companies that are already involved in the world of crypto currencies are making a way to have a better technology for the good future of all people around the globe and for me bitcoin can last forever until there is still cryptocurrencies in every part of the world.

I think bitcoin will continue to exist, all depends on whether we want to support bitcoin or not. Bitcoin needs our role as a community to continue to live and develop.

But what if bitcoin will have its smart contract too? Ain't that going to be make the rest as shitcoins?

Technology can be developed over time, it can adapt and will be utilized more than the ones claiming to be greater use, you just have to wait. So long as there are miner and developers that will continue to innovate BTC will live long.

yes, it cannot be predicted so far. but indeed the bitcoin can die and cannot be used later. but if you predict it now it won't work because bitcoin is experiencing a rapid rise and fall in prices.

but at least bitcoin can last for quite a long time until it can be up to 10 years to come, because the more years the enthusiasts and users are increasing, so the more users that the bitcoin is to survive

Nothing is eternal. And bitcoin is no exception. But there is no Bitcoin and 10 years. Bitcoin will last for quite a long time at least 100 years.

If it lasts for a hundred years, its safe to say it probably lasted forever:lol
I don't believe in the notion that nothing lasts forever, bitcoin is not some ponzi scam or a fancy coin and it's proven that in just ten years.

Probably most alts would disappear sooner or later, but I doubt the bitcoin will follow suit,as long as devs keep working on the technology, and adding additional features, then the bitcoin could last for as long as possible
