Google Translate, what is wrong when I can not use fluent English

Google Translate is allowed or not?
When i am writing this article i am using Google Translate, Because I can not use English fluently.
I know English is a popular language in the world, but not everyone can use them, so why are most people unhappy about them? I know using google translation is not right, it's not full of meaning but there is no other way when english is not our native tongue. I would also like to accompany and develop with the people on this forum, but my article uses gg translators to be able to speak out my mind. But some members are not satisfied. I do not know whether to continue or not

Sections were created to organize the forums. If you can't speak English properly, just post in your local board.

If you make some mistakes, that's fine but using Google translate for the whole thing will just result in having a non understandable post.

I also understand that is the rule but they do not ban because too many people can not use english, so it is mandatory to use google translate

Recently I has a chat with some people that went to Japan for their holidays. Command of English is apparently very low or non-existent for many people there, and the people I chatted with used google translate on their phones to communicate (and seemed to get away with it). In some contexts, the tool is great and even I’ve needed it for an occasional word that I want to use, but that comes to my mind in Spanish rather than in English. It can help you to a certain degree for sure.

Nevertheless, the point is that, to post on an English board, you have to be understood well enough the first time round. Nobody want’s to go around second guessing what the OP wants to say, as will likely happen when using an automated translator. The tool often chooses words that are correct, but semantically or grammatically misplaced. That throws everyone off their feet. If command of English is not fairly good, it is best to stick to local boards. A mean, I would not go and try to post in the Russian section for example, using google translate, and expect to have a round of applause. I would use it to go to Japan or to help me out with a specific word every now and then.

Any kind of translation tool is bad even the ones from Google as it fails to make your sentence construction right it only translates your language to English word for word but it doesn't adjust their positions or correct the grammar of what you are trying to say making your translated text hard to understand to other people. Any incomprehensible post brought by the translation tool is really not contributing anything to the forum and members would more than likely take time to understand what you are saying which most of them fail to do so and they are not the ones to be blamed at it.

I guess I do read that topic somewhere in Meta section and it's from TMAN. He's just stating not to purely rely on Google Translate and I guess in regards with English proficiency many good Samaritans here in forum do some initiative to overcome it by posting or giving some tutorials, you can rely on Jet Cash's thread about it. Give some time to learn English especially in written communication but you can do verbal if you want. I guess it may not be a must but it somehow an obligation as this forum is reliant on English language(you may exclude local sections)

I agree to this. Do not rely on google translate because it doesn't give you a proper english translation of a certain phrase. They often give you wrong grammatical phrases and sometimes the meaning of the phrase that you translated is different from what you are about to express. I use google translate when I forgot an english word of a certain word and I find google translate useful for this circumtances. I advise you to use grammarly for grammar checking.

For writing, no translator can give you the exact texts what you have meant. Most of the time, the whole meaning of the input text will be changed and sometimes there might be something so wrong that people will misunderstand you.
So, it's better not to use any kinda translator. You should try yourself. Also, if you feel your English isn't so good, you can get help from fittotalk by Jet Cash.

The post you made here uses quite simple and useable phrases, which are well understood and correctly translated. But as soon as you will start posting on specific themes with thermonology, the translation will be so ridiculous.. As soon as you can see that and make it readable enough, I guess, that is ok. Otherwise, no one wants to read absurd texts.

English should be the main language since bitcointalk is an international forum. So what I'm suggesting is try to learn English rather complaining about its difficulty. You don't need to be a master of English language in order to participate in the discussions going on the forum. Following links will help you to learn English.

Install Grammarly Chrome extension for your chrome browser and it also would help you to correct the grammar mistakes.

I find that posts translated by google translate are frequently hard to read and I don't feel like spending the time it takes to unscramble the translated text.

well while it's a odd situation, if the rules state that you are not allowed to use automated translations, it's for a reason. probably because a complete translation 90% of the time makes little to no sense.
so, perhaps it's time to realize that the content you post obviously is supposed to be read by Other People, and if they can't understand it, it's not a good post.

Looking at your other posts, they're all shite. And the thing is that you have no way of knowing they're shit but it's painfully obvious to the several hundred million people out there who actually can use English.

It's always obvious when someone is using translation tools. If I came to the foreign language boards and started doing the same I'd quickly be told to go away.
