I'm not really sure those big companies are already accepting bitcoins as payment. My recent memory says that Samsung acceptance was fake news after all. Perhaps those giant companies will take advantage of Blockchain Technology though. We might see them accepting crypto, but not today or even not ever because of bitcoin's price volatility.

I have thought of the answer to this questions from every angle and the only thing I could come up with is that Cryptocurrencies promote decentralisation and anonymity, this is exactly what the Government doesn't want because sending funds anonymously means they cannot charge tax on your transactions and this would be really bad for them.

this is exactly why the price is not rising yet. it is because all you care about is that fiat you so love and want to increase. you talk about bitcoin's adoption as a currency, you talk about the technology,... but in the end all you care about is profit on your fiat. and that is why price doesn't rise because if you believed in what you said here then you would have been spending bitcoin, encouraging businesses to accept bitcoin all around you,... instead you are waiting for a rise to sell your bags and be rich.

I think they condemn it because of ignorance of technology and the false news that some networks invent to discredit it but little by little they will be added once they see their progress and their world-wide climbing with more force especially in young people from 13 to 25 years old. those who are going to promote its use on a large scale with professionals who are already graduates in chain blocks that have already 10 years of training so there is bitcoin for a while

Bitcoin is indeed still unacceptable for some people because first of all it is not a legal currency. The government never introduced it themselves.  Also, some people were using it in doing bad deeds and wrongdoings like scam, etc. People find bitcoin untrustworthy because of also the people themselves, starting from what they hear, what they see and what they have read. It is like people are brainwashed by other but it will eventually be washed away by opening their eyes and their wholly to the truth and exploring every inch of BTC.

It's normal. As fiat value is always fixed and bitcoin is so volatile, people prefer to cash out their profit. Also, people need fiat for buying things they want.

I think many confuse bitcoin and blockchain technology please, there are two different separate things. I believe most of  these new companies are interested in blockchain technology as a whole. The volatility of Bitcoin isn't the problem, they can just use a payment processors to avoid losses. Last year, Steam had no problems in accepting Bitcoin payments despite of the price fluctuations but due to the network fees they had to stop accepting Bitcoin.

I think the right reason why bitcoin continues to be used is the technology applied by bitcoin-related to efficient and practical transactions. The technology used by bitcoin in transactions can really help the global economy in all aspects, especially in data management and cutting transaction costs.
