what problem with the pool http://ecchouse.com/ ? The autopay is stopped after the UI changed, and now I have 310K ECC in the pool and there is no way to do manual transfer I am sure it will be sorted out. I wouldn't worry about it, not so soon. You should set an autopayout amount so you will be safe in the future. I set mine to withdraw about every 3-4 hours by calculating how much ECC/hour I was producing. For example: if you mine 1000ECC per hour, set it to withdraw at 3000.. Then you wouldn't have to worry much if anything went wrong.

Problem is autopay don't work there so the coins don't get transfered over the night, they just got build up to huge amount ...

make sure you use different username and pass with each pool, also sql injection is easy with the open source pool scripts.

well the variation 100K-300K is not big we can make it a true random, but it requires a hard fork, which can cause big problem we have 10 days to go, by the time I have the code ready, most time will be gone so forget it and just live with it if multipools choose only the more profitable blocks to mine (say 200K-300K), then just mine with multipools.
I don't think it's a multipool. As soon as the mined blocks mature, they are being sent to http://explorer.eccoin.cc/address/ERC42c3f7Qq8x4nhVcFA6naF2LWTFeQHnG. Currently, at the top, it says: Balance: 625225137.658738 ECC Transactions in: 497 Received: 638642244.798186 ECC Transactions out: 12 Sent: 13417107.139448 ECC That shows that they have kept 98% of what they have mined over the last four days. A multipool would have distributed more of the coins, wouldn't they? Either that, or they would have dumped the coins in order to convert to BTC or whatever they paid their miners. If it is a multipool, you or someone else should tell everyone which one it is. A miner can't very well sign up with them if they don't know how to do it. But doing that would amount to screwing the conventional pool operators who have been supporting ECC all along. So any way you look at it, it's not fair to someone. I would recommend changing the payout to a fixed payout of 200,000. There would be no possible way to game that. The coding change would be simple. It wouldn't require much of your time at all. You could have it immediately available. There could still be over one week of fair mining left.

all random superblocks use the same scheme, the multipools can jump in if the block payout is high and jump out when it is low. Because the mining is a random process, they are not guaranteed to get the higher paid blocks, but their chances to get it is bigger, as they have big hash power.
I'd just go with multipool, and you can't fight with big hashpower guys anyway.
Exactly! That's why all coins (except those that were abandoned by their developers) switched to a constant block reward. Most miners will be screwed if you don't do that. It's not necessarily just multipools that would use the exploit. A huge farm could use it, too. It's just a matter of the payout being worth the effort.

Same $hit happened to me EVfEetfkhS95jM9stJX3QEvm8EzD6CEEtP is the address. I had 150,000 I had 5,000 k payouts, but all the coins were unconfirmed so they were never sent to my account. Switched over to this pool last night. I just saw all those coin are gone to the address above this morning when I check my miners from school WTF Guess they didn't take all of it http://explorer.eccoin.cc/address/EVfEetfkhS95jM9stJX3QEvm8EzD6CEEtP

Should I mine this?
Of course! In 11 days, it is too late! Of course, not! Find a coin that's profitable and fair, mine that one, then sell it and buy ECC. Mining ECC isn't fair because someone is cherry-picking the high reward blocks. You will get more ECC if you mine a fair coin and trade than if you mine ECC.

That's understandable since we all join many pools and have to keep track of many passwords. I'm just curious if you had done the same. I'm sorry to hear about the theft. I've re-enabled two-factor auth as an added layer of security. Sorry to those users who find two-factor annoying.
