He is in Europe, might be asleep.

The sell walls are from multipools dumping the coin before it can't be mined anymore.

Dev left the building?  selling walls are huge and a lot of people are getting scamed by your resources, remove them from the op, where are you  Undecided

I just feel the need to say, this has been one of the most dedicated coin devs I've seen.  In general, the quality and speed of his responses have been great.  I think it's too soon to call him into question.

Despite the fact that the two pools concerned may be my competitors, there are clearly just a few conflicting reports about their quality, and it would be great for more users to speak up about their experiences.  The last days of this coin have been strange, with scamming, cherry-picking, and repeated ddos attacks.  There isn't a need to generate extra fear right now.    I think there's just a few bad folks out there with a lot of resources that are causing most of the problems, and I expect most pools are doing their best to stay reliable.  I certainly am.

ecc.miningwith.us

Now finding blocks like mad, come check us out!

Having a problem with your pool.

I have passed the payment threshold, and tried to update my account with my wallet address....but every address I generate from the wallet and input in my admin gives me a 'Failed to update your account: Invalid coin address'

I am IRC right now, but no one seems to know anything about ecc pool there.

Any chance I could get some help?

Setup on ecc.hashfever.com, went to the movies, came back and have no coins, conformed or unconfirmed.  Freakin joke.  Hashing away at 7000 Kh/s, with a dashboard telling me I am earning thousands of coins each round, with multiple workers going strong, and nothing.  No transactions.  No earnings.  Just someone scamming here too.  wtf is going on with this coin and the mining pools?! I have mined dozens of coins all over the place and never once have I seen a pool site do what's gone on today.  Leaving this crap for good!

I recommend going with The Poolest ECC Pool or ipominer.com ECC Direct Mining Port.

You won't have any problems with Lost Coins, Consistent Payments, or Scams.

Thanks for the tip, decided to try one more, and doing well with poolest :-)

I wouldn't touch the other two, even if the odd person says it's working fine for them…it's very fishy that some are experiencing the activities going on?!

There are scam sites on all the coins lately.  Too many people are seeing short term gains are worth losing their reputations over.

Even pseudo anonymous reputation is valuable.

What's up with http://ecc.okaypool.com ?!  I have not been able to release my coins for a couple of days?  Have mined hundreds of thousands?  Is it a scam?  Site indicates email confirmation to setup withdrawal, but no emails have been sent.  Used the web form to contact them, but no reply.  Looks like a big scam site?  Any others?  Feedback?

i've used okaypool many times on different coins, i'd be surprised if it was a "scam"... did you check spam/junk folder? if not try to PM an admin here.

Yeah, no emails in any folders :-(
China can block IP of foreign servers so though server send packages they may never reach to 163.com you should better use gmail or foreign email servers for the pools only.

Hostmaster, can you share some details about the person that ran ECCHouse?  Unless they make things right with the people mining for them, we should all be aware of who they are so we can avoid them in the future.

Thanks!

It's a basic fact that you can't know who anyone on the internet really is. (Even if you once knew, someone else could hack their accounts and take over.) People who are scammers know how to fake identities and hide their own. There is unfortunately no point in asking.

Actually, Eric, that's only a basic fact to those that don't want to try.

I'm not a scammer who's trying to hide my identity.  Wink

I give his latest post in this thread and his username known he runs not only ecc but also some other coin pools.

his profile https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=253235

this is only pm with him

this is sick, our conservation become ugly in the end i blocked his skype. And i have many questions still coming over me and making me tired on this matter.

I'm doing a research project on coin distribution for both older and new coins. I'm interested on gathering some data for top addresses and how much of the coins the top100 have. This along with the number of people (addresses) actually holding any amount of coins.

I have some info from bitinfocharts on a few coins but I really do need some data on other coins along with less exposed or new ones.

If anyone knows an explorer with this feature drop a line.

there are two explorers given in the OP.

i list here also

Block explorers

thank you,  i added ipominer to the OP also anything else needed just prepare the text (hey dev put this here remove this etc)  i can simple copy paste to the OP. We are a team remember. Do not give much importance to the well walls. When we successfully establish the ecc multi pool. we will establish trust and hopefully sell walls will fly away... In anyway with enough miners, we can eat them, well.

How exactly did it become ugly? Please read your offers and tell me they are reasonable. You HOLD 500M or 450Million left from the premine and you can't seem to offer me more than 200K in eccoin? That's a little disrespectful.

Has anyone else notice that Hostmaster tries to ignore whenever ecchouse is brought up or any other issues?

[2014-04-05 3:34:30 PM] Roaree: Yes, why not transferover some of the users with a wallet address and automatically configure an account for them so they are still being paid out if they do not right away get the message
[2014-04-05 3:39:03 PM] Roaree: To be honest, I was actually planning on starting a multipool after this, but running a pool is time consuming along with school
[2014-04-05 3:39:09 PM] Roaree: How much are you willing to offer?
[2014-04-05 3:39:28 PM] uzaymerkezi: nick i am not rich man i can offer you only big thank you with 200k ECC

[2014-04-05 3:58:47 PM] uzaymerkezi: remember i trusted you and put 1 st rank already Smiley i wanted to you earn more because you buy domain for us made me happy

[2014-04-05 7:33:36 PM] Roaree: Sorry I had to leave for a little bit
[2014-04-05 7:34:29 PM] Roaree: Since you have developed the multipool script, share a copy?
[2014-04-05 7:34:56 PM] Roaree: And I'll take that in exchange. Because I'm not exactly a programmer and that's my ultimate mission. Let me know thanks
[2014-04-05 11:57:50 PM] uzaymerkezi: yes sky is the limit

[2014-04-05 11:58:34 PM] uzaymerkezi: we will see
[2014-04-06 2:41:37 AM] uzaymerkezi: you need to use API to sell and then BUY little bit complex but cna be addressed by a good programmer
[2014-04-06 2:42:49 AM] uzaymerkezi: i think your domain stays sin godaddy its good i have also godaddy ccount we can just push when we get near to end pow
[2014-04-06 2:42:51 AM] uzaymerkezi: is ok?
[2014-04-07 11:14:02 AM] uzaymerkezi: so ?
[2014-04-08 11:40:26 AM] Roaree: wait, so are you willing to provide me with a copy of the working script of your upcomming multipool?
[2014-04-08 12:54:15 PM] Roaree: What we could even do is a partnership of the multipool I'm starting. This will be aside from the ECC Multipool you have now.
[2014-04-08 12:55:19 PM] Roaree: And you can take a percentage of the total daily/weekly/monthly profit the multipool generates. This will be completely separate of your current Multipool
[2014-04-08 11:38:41 PM] uzaymerkezi: it's great you do seperate multi pool, but i can not share because i will develop it continously also i have some other plans planning company aorund it. But its perfectly ok you do another one
[2014-04-08 11:47:58 PM] uzaymerkezi: And at some point of dveelopment we can offer you whitelabel API so all you need proxy to our node next your server. You can say this is your pool. it's fine for me.
[9:38:30 AM] Roaree: I can understand where you are coming from. I'm sure we both can agree that we are here to make money.
[9:38:33 AM] Roaree: Who holds the premine?
[9:39:36 AM] Roaree: Why not just pay me on the interest earned on the premine and we will call it even. Since I'll have to use the fund from the sell to purchase a profit switching script.
[9:40:46 AM] Roaree: You are a nice and hard working guy, and you'll most than double with your multi-pool. So I want to work this out so we are both happy.
[9:40:57 AM] uzaymerkezi: hey matter closed here thank you
[9:42:33 AM] Roaree: Nice talking to you. Best regards

After he blocked me, he unlisted the pool for the list of supported pools on the front page and from the other forum as well, ecoiner.

Yes, the server got hacked and it went unnoticed. I'm an idiot for using the same password for everything. They stole a load of other coins as well... everyone is at a loss here. I realize many people here are pissed and it will not settle well. I apologize.

Hostmaster, why don't you step up and help out the community and the member heres who lost their coins? After all, 450M * 25% = 122M in interest earned.

How do you know how much premine i have left? Who are you asking me premines and what's the business with you? Do you think i really care premines? I asked you 3 days simple thing instead of direct answer yes no you kept aberrated it. You simply think so because this is who you are. Because you think so you agree others are same.

It's good you are back. Now what's the problem with you? why did not write until this message. I invited you some help but you did not explained anything.

I of course removed you because you have been reported by another pool ddosing to other pools. I did not believe this until i see your last messages.

I become very sure you did it look, you already tried to attack on the pool666.com by redirecting people putting them in confusion.

I did very right think to remove you. I can see i saved alot of coins from an amateur like you.

Yes, because "losing" millions of coins for the miners that trusted your service and then providing a late half arsed apology is going to make people rally behind your ideas...

if you hacked open the server logs, publish on your website and let us more data how this happened, you can make err, or anything else. Instead arguing lets give a lesson to others who doing pool business.

1 Now you should explain what happened
2 Open your pool up make it %0 fee until end mining

So we know you take responsiblity of your hacked.

And you give domain when poW ends to me and FREE!!

And when ecc multipool is online i give %0 rate for some time to miners from your database. (you give their wallets to me i make them %0 fee) We lower the losses together.

So you can be still one of us.

see?
