There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Hello. Was any exchange being removed from OP? I remember to add some funds (289k) to a exchange and I cant find which one is it. Could you help? I have the address where I sent to, but didnt write it down Edit: I sent them to this address : EZVyULraUyhkn7rujf6sxVTYtadyq1vtGC Is there a way to check witch exchange is it? Coinader was another exchange that ran away with people's coins. I lost 1 million ECC there

From the OP: ECC the max coin age for PoS is 84 days (minimum being 42 days)
So, if you don't open the wallet for say, 100 days, only the 84 days age will be counted for your % stake . It is therefore desirable (but not essential) to open the wallet at least once in 84 days.'
@HOSTMASTER: That's bad advice, right? If someone opens the wallet and they had coins that were 40 days old, those coins will remain 40 days old. If they open the wallet again 84 days later, those coins would then be 124 days old, but they would only get interest for 84 days. So "...at least once in 84 days" is bad advice, I think. Really you should open the wallet every 42 days, because the window where you can collect interest is 42 days long, not 84 days long. I've been saying "one month" because it's easier to remember and mark on your calendar. You should open the wallet as often as you can to get the benefit of compounding.

if its unlocked/decrypted... its fine...it will stake the first transaction that closes 42 days inside the wallet.

its locked and decrypted so it is safe to unlock? encrypting only adds security, correct?

so much strange... mine just use 1% now and then I haven't seen it often, but I have seen a couple of wallets get stuck with high CPU usage, too. I'm not sure, but I think you must have multiple wallets open to run into that situation. @Majormax: Thanks for the point about interest compounding.

win 7 generally its here C:\Users\user1\ AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startupyou put this directory a ecc wallet's shortcut. So every time you open it should start the wallet.

when you think you really run multipul ? 1 week, few days ? First, i reach beta testers those who emailed, then we go public. I can't give exact date we don't know last minute problems, but hopefully should not not take more than 2 weeks with our current speed. I'll open new thread and push hard to get new miners to the pool, the more miners we have better for us. We need to educate you some, our system little bit different then current pools.
