too many hype on other coins.. we lost the train...
multipool is late.. too late i think... and we tested and tested.. ecc.ghash failed us...
we tried beli coin worrht of nothing... i dont think if we were trying ltc for more hours to get confirmations, anyone would have a problem...
even doge...
we will try x11 tomorrow.. but we havent tried coin switching...
which is the most basic problem of multipools...
That means more testing and testing... People are looking for other coins too..new ideas, algos etc... we had POS, well 42 days was to much in cryptoworld..
In that rythm... multipool will need 2 months more...
it should have started at least mining between ltc and doge... even that could built some pressure..
Cinni has the volume in one day.. of ECC's whole life... etc etc... many names after ecc with faster POS... and crazy volume..
You cant hold and keep people for ever where there is a competitive world out there...
And i dont think that would disagree with me,that besides community and active support... you need to be fast.. in every economy market out there.

My idea of optimum coin age for PoS is minimum 1 day, maximum 7 days, with 100% pa in first year. Coins with these specs will ,I believe, be survivors. You are right about speed. ECC has some very good other attributes:the dev is visionary... I am not sure if coin age etc can be changed without a hard fork. |

What makes CINNI different from ECC? Minimum coin age is 3 days against ECC 42 days. (among other differences).. There are many other faster PoS coins now, and Cinni has many flaws as well. |

I´m worried now cause we are losing volume on mintpal. the volume right now is too slow.
We need to solve this: we are encouraged to save (pos) but, at same time, we should make the coin spins, making more people know eccoin and be accepted around the world. all this with 489 other currencies outside.
We got a lot of people liking us on facebook, we got a community, some actions occuring, but we should be effective, because with less than 1 bitcoin on mintpal we will be in trouble...
Hey you can prepare some messages i can have them posted in facebook & twitter pages. The community can and should do so. The more we push with news better we are. So just post here what you want to communicate with community i'll carry the message on FB twitter. |

i am asking you guys because my opinion is that plant trees is good, but will not make other people get engaged with ecc.
we have 1.065 likes and blackcoin has 4.531. its 4x bigger than ours, but transactions volume (most important than that) on mintpal is 700 x.
At first place, we got to make people who know cryptocurrencies engaged with ecc. After that we should "teach" people who dont undestand about it.
copychicken, i agree with u. we should be faster than that.
host, your work is excellent, really. and all people here are engaged with ecc. but i think its important to think about other things to do...
we got to grow our group, and strenghten our tasks...

Still not generating stake on coins from Date: 19/03/2014 and still have them in my wallet and not stake has been generated on the coins and have wallet unlocked. Any advise to get stake working because its not staking for me

Personally I think the stake time is just about right. As stated above I think fast POS just encourages dumping instead of long term holding. I'm looking to build and hold for at least a year from my initial mine date. Those that held their bitcoins for years are the ones than made the most. It takes time to build value.
I've been mining MARS and trading for ECC the last week or so, it's been able to produce nearly a mil ECC/day with 4mh/s.
I could stop mining today, hold everything for a year and it would only take around 10% sell (if price remained the same) to see ROI in ECC so, I'm going to play that long game.
If price goes up then my ROI is better and I think even if price goes to 1 I'll still have made a profit.
*Side Note*
I've also been thinking of starting to look into offering WEB/VOICE/GAME hosting ( I already do this) with ECC as an accepted payment. To promote the 'Green Future' initiative I would sell these services only in locations where the Datacenters provide greener alternatives for power and cooling in LEED certified buildings.
