I am working on a ECCoin auction website, like Ebay, but where you can only pay with ECC.
I keep you posted on this one...but @launch we would need some real nice items to put up for sale... Rare, unique items, so ppl are forced to buy ECC in order to place a bid on this item if they want it! Ideas are very welcome!
Regards
R
, Good luck.

The longer it takes, the sell walls stuck up more volume at lower prices, keeping the coin from growing. Think of it as a very young plant, with someone stepping on top of it. The 16BTC sell wall at 4sat will most probably go down at 3 sat, when people notice the maximum buy orders are at 2 sat.

I have my doubts with these sell walls...I can't see why people keep 16BTC in coins on an exchange, just to keep the price down, while they can get 25% stake a year in their wallet....doesn't make sense to me. If they want to make money, keep your coins in your wallet, let the value of the coin increase and then sell in bits. Why these BIG sell walls, what's behind this game?

I think some people maybe buy at 3 sat, then immediately place a sell at 4 sat. That way, given the 2-5BTC per 24 hours volume, they will probably make 33% in only a month or less. Why keep coins in your wallet for a year if there's more to be made trading like this? A multipool will make all the difference I hope. Keep up the good work hostmaster. You'll have my hashes when I get my rig.

The only conclusion is that they actually do want to sell the coins asap, and must be expecting price to fall significantly fairly quickly. Either that or trying to make money trading (flipping). The best way to dispose of them is for the price to fall by 90%, and strong hands buy the coin up. They are simply moving from one coin to the next. No measures can support the price in this situation: only real world projects can give long term value. In the short term, the price can go anywhere, and should be ignored (unless you are a quick dumper).

The sell walls are not that high actualy...there is about 1469 million ECC on the way to 10 sat, that's only 8,71% of all ECCoins in existence. However, you are right about the fact that ppl should keep their ECC in their wallets instead of their mintpal account... Multipool in combination with promotion should ppl make more aware of ECCoin... Once things get moving, we might expect a great future...

the mining period for ecc is done you can only buy them or generate them buy proof of stake which means you get 25% of the coins held in your wallet after 45 days.
you can buy them at mintpal.com

Either that, or you can mine at hashco.ws multipool and set the payouts to ECC
