It all depends on the domain extension, so it would help if you can point out which extension you want to know the value of. But then again, even if people here say it's worth $100 (could be any amount) the price in reality is likely to be far lower because in +95% of the cases nothing is being done with them.

The higher valuations mostly come from businesses wanting to develop themselves around a specific domain, and in case these businesses aren't in the market for your domain, you'll be left with something that has (mostly lower) speculative value only.

Domain extensio really matters, with top domain names you can get a lot of money but domains like ethereum.promo and similar ones, won't be a big deal for you. Btw if I were you, would see namecheap prices and would turn contact information on in case if someone wants to contact me for domain sale.

I'd agree with it depends to the extension domain.

If that's .tk I don't know if there would be interesting people to buy it.

When I'm bored and I use to check domain like those, I'm estimating them with the use of godaddy's domain appraisal. This became my hobby as well.

I think not just domain extensions are important but also age, SEO rankings (including backlinks), and authority of the domain are extremely important to calculate how much you can sell your domain.

What matters the most in domains is their names. No matter what extension comes next, if you have a solid, short, meaningful name, it will be sold for hundreds of Dollars (if not thousands). Of course, if you have a short name plus .com extension, then you have a goldmine.

I would recommend using either https://estibot.com or https://godaddy.com/domain-value-appraisal as they give far more accurate appraisals than most.
