In recent days, some forum rules have been changed. First of all to mention rule Merit & New rank.
There is no denying that this rule will reduce the number of spam posts. But look what happened, right after applying the new rule, a large number of post have been created as a plea for merit.

Today, I have seen many Newbie complain that they can not post, reply or even edit the previous reply. Is this a new rule or is it just a system error?
If can not post or reply, how do they improve rankings. Many Newbie want to participate in Bounties but how do they register and report the task? If they can not reply any topic.
Please say, this is just a glitch of the system.

The new rule (1 Merit for Jr. Member) is already reducing spam

Yes, is already reducing spam. Because the large number of Jr.Member accounts have been downgraded to the Newbie and can not join the signature campaign. But have you seen the number of posts on this Meta significantly increased?

They will all disappear after a few weeks just like in January when merit system first came.
