Phil, the 31TH you picked up is the one for $799.00 currently correct?

799-10=789+91 = 880

10 dollar discount = HAPPY2019

My four units = ten s-9 miners.

Power is 2350+2350+2250+2250 = 9400 watts for 131th

If USA based buy 1 use dhl.

Our rep will provide duty free shipments under the de minimus value. Though till our volume increases our rate is much higher for shipping.

Thanks for the info. Just being a curious Canadian checking how things have been collected.

Not sure you guys can help me out to much up here.

Regardless think I've made my mind up. No more distractions or I might miss out.

We'll i'll bring up researching duties for again for Canadian buyers. I think we had started to but with the tariffs here in the US that hit this summer we've focused on that. Specifically trying to get sidehacks new chips exempted.

I think our Canadian buyers have double though in the last month, I know a Canadian footprint is part of our five year plan (thanks to gcnelson here) but still dependent on continued activity and interest.

Back to the M10 though no db read? If it's relatively similar to the 100% fan speed s9 it might be my first upgrade in almost a year.

I have the 31th give me an hour.

just did a video of it on low power 20.4 th about 1280 watts

Your video will be live at: https://youtu.be/efLTk8BG7i8

give it a few minutes to upload

71 db at 1 meter pitch is okay
53 db at 6 meters hard to know it is running.

yeah high speed is louder but not terrible.

video should be loaded very soon.

it is ready to view

61 watt per TH thats not bad at all. I like the fans running at 3k instead of the typical 6k...

Why don't you build a wooden box with two 6" holes to put the miner inside, and use that insulating fabric to cover the inside of it, and add a bit of insulating 6" ducts to the holes? (It resembles a car muffler), something like this:

It is moving to a different spot and will run at 31 th.

my deal in new spot is 50 50 coin spilt and the hoster pays power.

noise is not an issue.

it you see that silver 5 foot board to the right in the video it ia a sound proof box that does wonders but I won't need to use it. as the hosting site is a large loud warehouse we will be installing a 300k-watt solar array on the roof which will create about 40k-watts 24/7/365 in a grid tie setup.

we will have a mix of:

s9 s9i s9j
m10
l3+

and a few pieces of odd ball gear.

once we get this done we will have a 120kwatt array and a 300 kwatt array.  plan is to do 1 or 2 a year in the 100 to 400 kwatt size.

divide by 6 or 7 to get your 24/7/365 number.

Box is decent, I wouldn't want to do that though. Then I've sound proofed my home interior wall, door and frame. All I'm worried about is when the wife is new the machines. That's a bigger headache for me than fan noise.

Thanks for the reads philip.

Well I'm pumped. I have 2 of the 31 TH models confirmed on order, I guess shipping out early next week.

I'm hoping I have these before I leave town for a bit, anyone know how long their shipping was from Pangolin to North America?

Side note while asking questions about the 2 models I was told this was the reason for the different hashrate. It was just the different chip batches they had ordered that resulted in the improvements.

DHL is always 3 days express, you'll know more obviously when tracking is sent. Watch for duties with a unit count of 2 since the package will be above de minimus value.

I think he is Canada and is subject to 5% but I talk to so many people in pm's I am not sure if I have him placed correctly.

It is cold in NJ today about -1C or 31f

So I cranked it up to full power it is doing 31.3 th at 2275 watts  which is 72 watts

I don't mind that it is less efficient as the place in the new solar array will let us do 50-50 on coins.

This should be a good setup for us.

A mix of new gear and old gear.

4 M10's =  130th   =   9200 watts
15 s9's =   200th   = 19125 watts
1 A921 =    20th    =   1900 watts
2 A721 =    10th    =   2100 watts
4 S7ln  =    10th    =   2400 watts
1 t2turbo = 20th    =   1600 watts

10 L3+  = 5gh       =    11200 watts

total of 47525 watts

the way New Jersey Works  we need establish   a 40kwatts 24/7/365 power draw
so we will pull 50kwatts for 4-6 months
get the solar in and drop to 40kwatts

the A721
the s7ln  do 4kwatts and will be dropped first
then we will drop s9's 5 s9s' is 6.5 kwatts

that is 10.5 so  we would be under 40   as 47.5-10.5 = 37kwatts

we will be adding m10's 1 at a time for months to come.
so the current 390 th will grow even thou we drop our watts from 47kwatt to 37kwatt

what is nice is the warehouse is so big we can provide 90kwatts 18x 30 amp 240 volt circuits

only 40kwatt would be solar but if we get a runup in coins we can fire up the old gear.

the plan is to go all m10  as 16 x 2300 = 36800 watts on high speed

and just have the old gear do nothing.  we could even go to 30 m10's at low speed  as 30 x 1280 = 38400 watts

and 30 x 21 th = 630th  all solar and if we have a runup we could do

30 x 2300 = 69kwatts
30 x 31.3 = 939 th

When I go to the new spot I will do some photos I need be careful to not expose building location etc.

Yes Canada here. They are subject to 5% GST. Depending on the shipment and whether its commercial or personal there is also generally the provincial sales tax.

Apart from that as long as I stay below 2500 CAD they can expedite it through customs.

I might be 4 days with my delivery location being rural. I'm going to have to keep an eye on them as the last time they handed the package of to a courier they pretty much tossed it into my lawn, yeah it was a miner. Lol

Either way I'll have to get on wiring in a new 30 amp circuit so these 2 can hit the ground running. Just remembered I have to do a cable count, as I might need to order 1 or 2. That or take my limpy t9+ offline.

You make them sound pretty great. I’d order some but I’m hesitant to spend the BTC right now. Might need to break down and get one while the low price model is still available.

OG

Don't spend the BTC then. This is assuming you just mean the coin at current value, and not funds in general. IIRC you operate a business, that is one fast way to be able to pay by wire with Pangolin. I can't say for sure but it seems they were going to try and work with me to send a wire as an individual but in the end I didn't need the special arrangement.

The review so far were enough for me to bite the bullet on these, I'm to wishy washy at times. Judging by what may or may not be a power issue with other gear I'm glad I went this route. I am getting excited, it's funny I was thinking back to my first new from manufacturer purchases in 2017, and I paid the same then for my 14.6 TH/S from the 2 741's.

Glad to hear they are close Phil, might even see it tomorrow. These haven't been shipping with a power cord have they? Was re-reading the OP and it looked as though one came in the box.

yeah I think a cord that does not work for a usa socket comes with it.

Been too lazy to rewire them.

To OG  they are only okay due to the new solar array  deal I got into with buysolar.

I would not do these with out that deal.
