For me, what happening now is good for satoshi. Let him hide his identity for the good for the good. If he will show up what next? Do you think the government won't go after him? Satoshi is a genius guy. What he invented was really a threat to the government like blockchain. Blockchain can be use in many useful way that can fall down the government. So let Satoshi remained anonymous.

One big mystery of all time will be answered if he reveals himself.

But who to believe if many are already claiming it that they are the real satoshi nakamoto? If SN is still alive, I doubt that he will come out and introduce himself. That will reduce the character of bitcoin as he stands for bitcoin, its anonymity and decentralization.

Many believed that the inventor of Bitcoin wants to remain anonymous to avoid legal consequences as what happened during 2007 about E-Gold, one of the first digital money (Bernard, 2017). On the other hand, I think it would be better if the founder of Bitcoin will reveal his identity since many countries recognized the essence of this cryptocurrency.

If this might happen, it will contribute for more development of digital currency and regulations in Bitcoin procedures. Also, the acknowledgement must be given for the person who invented the most efficient digital currency in our society.

What are your thoughts?

He don't have to reveal himself or come out in the open, we are very much grateful to him but we should also protect him from media because his life will be in jeopardy because he seems to be a very private person, and besides he holds a lot of Bitcoin the IRS might go after him and also the SEC

What for? Why should this person reveal his personality? I'm sure that such a person or group of people feel great in the place where they are.

He should be honored but not to the point that we will disrupt his private life, and since many countries still treat Bitcoin as ponzi scheme it will harm his reputation if he ever come out and besides he will be targeted because of the many Bitcoin that he has in his wallet he will be forced to do a KYC let's not jeopardize his life.

You're only looking at the bright side, you have to look at the cons too when someone like Satoshi suddenly reveals his/her/their identity. If Satoshi decides to show up, his life will be more riskier than usual knowing that he has a lot of Bitcoin in his wallet. This would put more pressure on Bitcoin now that people knows he's out there. Some could even hunt him down like the government and force him to do things that would destroy Bitcoin. It's best for him to not reveal his identity and if he wants to develop Bitcoin he could just use a different alias.

You have  big points about the security of the founder of bitcoin aka nakamoto satoshi, but if satoshi nakamoto reveal his identity need to plan how to secured their life from the bad elements and for sure the government will give security personnel to protect their lives if ever he reveal his identity to depends their inventions to the government how to help for economic growth using dudgital currency.

Why would he revile him identity?
The man doesn't need credit from anyone, that shows how noble he is,  and on the other hand, reviling his real identity to the public means putting his life and the bitcoin network in danger!
It is better for him to remain anonymous

I think, today the benefits of bitcoin can be felt by some people who understand decentralized currencies, especially bitcoin.

and  I think, that public response to bitcoin will change the legal consequences of satoshi, he will be free, and he is not a criminal, even geniuses people like him, will be a bone of contention for every country, he is only an innovator who creates a transaction system model.

I think Satoshi will not reveal his identity anymore, there is no chance! Even I think Satoshi will not come back to this forum too! I don't know, is he know how people love him! If Satoshi reveals his identity then the world will fall behind him! He is a great technologist man, and many countries will want him to clarify the blockchain network and sometimes his life may fall into danger!

Well, Mr. Satoshi has nothing to prove anymore as Bitcoin is already become world famous and recognized by most of the countries as good for alternative investments and as currency for direct spending so for me better he will just keep on hiding for security reasons as we all knows that he has the great amount of Bitcoin at his disposal.

There really lies a lot of theories about Satoshin Nakamoto, and yes, revealing his true identity have their benefits from giving him proper acknowledgement to making his creation better in form and function.

Yet, in my own belief, his true identity unexposed was something that brought good more than damage. Being unknown, the world embraced bitcoin as it is. Because of his non-existence, we had no choice but to try its feature along with the flaws and we we're okay with it. Imagine if Satoshi Nakamoto is around till date, the world might simply be throwing him lots of comments and suggestions and complaints instead of actually utilizing the bitcoin.

His silence proved to be a good thing really. But i my self would really love to see the day when Satoshi Nakamoto is finally unmasked.

In my opinion, it's better to stand obscure.it's do not needed to revail the true identity of the founder of bitcoin.they want to veil or become obscure in there personality.so let satoshi remained anonymous.

Prices may rise again and may be more and more people start investing in it. So if he came in and show up it will be u turn for BTC.

The founder of Bitcoin will never tell his identity to the Public in my opinion, enough only with a pseudonym in circulation from the first time Bitcoin was born. Satoshi Nakamoto's name is the right name for Bitcoin owners. so maybe Satoshi Nakamoto doesn't want to be open to his public identity because he knows that Bitcoin will become popular and will make pros and cons throughout the world. now it is true that with the birth of bitcoin the pros and cons arise.

Those are just the addresses that are known to belong to him. There's a huge possibility that Satoshi is one of the first miners of bitcoin and he could have accumulated thousands of bitcoins just from that since there's not much miners before and the reward was still higher. Think about it. He was able to create this whole technology which seems to be ahead of his time, don't you think he would be able to think of what's going to happen after it was released? He thought it well how he's going to remain anonymous but still be able to enjoy the fruit of his labor. You can't just create something and not make it beneficial to you at all.

He's probably somewhere enjoying his wealth. He could have also created a script that distributes his mined bitcoin so it will not be in just one address to remain even more lowkey about it. One thing's for sure, he's out there just watching us. Just watching his creation grow.

I definitely fail to see the correlation of Satoshi exposing himself and the government or the people trusting cryptocurrency. It's not like Satoshi is going to cast a spell and suddenly everyone's now well-informed about cryptocurrency. Exposing himself will just result to death threats from big players and probably assassination. He's out there having the time of his life. There's zero need for him to expose himself unless he wants to toy with the community.

I myself still believe that Satoshi Nakamoto from Japan is the inventor of bitcoin. Crypto state in Japan is also good, unlike in China. so I think, this is the right time to express Satoshi's true identity, when there are many negative issues about bitcoin, and this recognition will be very important for the progress of bitcoin and further prospects.

Anonymity is the essential purpose of bitcoin and so does the creator of it. If he reveal himself that would put him more pressure particularly during this bitcoin crisis of deeper price decline many investors would him into blame as he could not make any action on how to make the bitcoin price more higher. Many greedy investors would hunt him down not just the government, they will hunt him not to arrest him but to make some bitcoin code distortion that would favor the interest of the government and other greedy investors and whales.

Part of my view is the same as yours. Pseudonymity has been an inherent part of crypto, thus, the creator set a good example in this respect. To prove that our real world identity is really not necessary to operate bitcoin, he drove the nail home with perfect conviction. And everyone else can follow suit as it is proven to be effective.

A lot of articles that I've read says that Satoshi Nakamoto holds the most Bitcoin. Before he left the Bitcoin scene, they said that he mined a million Bitcoin. That is the reason he is considered the number one rich person because of cryptocurrency.

Because of that also, the theory of Good and Bad Satoshi was made. They said that Satoshi might use those Bitcoins to control the market, if in Good Purpose, he will be holding the BTCs for lower total supply making Bitcoin higher demand while if it is bad, Satoshi will be selling those number or huge amount of Bitcoin to the market when the price pumps making a huge dump.
