As a Crypto enthusiastic for two years, there is something that still worries me when thinking about the future of bitcoin, and is his mass adoption, I see with concern that in my circle of friends that many people have already lost interest in bitcoin since the madness of last December. For us, bitcoin is the future of transactions, but I think many people are confused and thought its value is only superficial, without seeing the great potential it carries.

Now my question is, what could we do as individuals or company to promote mass adoption? In my case I have a webshop with several methods of payment in cryptos offering bitcoin-related merchandise, I am also planning to offer free webinars to help beginners interested in taking their first steps in this world, but what do you believe can be done to continue promoting the massive adoption of bitcoin?

The idea of online shopping with bitcoin payment method is very well I am also thinking of developing as you. I think it will work because now the bitcoin community and electronic money are growing very strong. And maybe this is the electronic money revolution.

Looks like you have been in the Crypto world for a long time because you can already promote Bitcoin by giving free webinars, this method can socialize Bitcoin to people who do not know Bitcoin.
But if I can advice, please have a seminar in each country so they can get closer to Bitcoin. with the seminar, I'm sure new investors will emerge.

Yeah, that is a good option but that would be expensive for now, maybe I can do webinars in different languages to come closer to your idea, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

That is very true because many people around the world entered into this crypto world by thinking that the price of BTC will always go high and they all can become rich in no time. But they don't know how this market works so they all disappointed when it crashed and most of them may not come back to cryptos in their lifetime. These people should understand one basic thing that bitcoins are limited compared to world population so when bitcoins are started to use in the mainstream for most of the businesses then its price can still run up many folds. So they should take this downturn opportunity to buy some and hold.

1st thing is if you own a retail shop or sell merchandise to people give them a 10% discount for using Bitcoin.  If you are mostly a purchaser try to frequent shops who accept Bitcoin and always ask if they would consider it.  Just getting to word out may be enough.  Everyone like tax free transactions as well. We win and the government loses!!

I think some vendors could implement lightning network with the vending machine of choice, but that means that the venue already has high interest of educated people in using the payment systems. The merchandise is in the speed and reliability of the transaction, so that is what people actually hold, or at least would want to hold.

Yes, we may not have as many people as we did during the bull run, but we have more people than before it.

And the same thing will happen over and over again.

Don't be disappointed, the good ones stay, that's what's important. The people who are chasing profits (but too dumb to actually get them) will hop on and off the bitcoin train.

Good ones will step in with the rest. The bad ones will jump off and be left behind, only to climb back on when we've made the technology better.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

Of course that is something that many do not understand, that sooner or later bitcoin is going up because of its limited supply, although I would not like those people just to get in because the price could go up when the supply ends, that would attract hodlers and money have to flow if we want to reach mass adoption, I think bitcoin has many attractive things that we could try to spread, for example, international transactions at a cost of $1 should be something extremely mesmerizing for most people.

I think one of the problems for most entrepreneurs is to get suppliers that accept cryptos, personally, I can pay my designers in cryptos because they are also receptive, but materials such as fabric or POP I usually have to pay in fiat.

self improvement
lesson one
bitcoin is not a person. it is code. it has no voice, no arms no legs.

do not wait for bitcoin to provide you with shops that offer food for btc.
if YOU want YOUR local store to sell food for btc, then YOU have to help convince YOUR store to accept btc

bitcoin cannot phone YOUR local store, arrange an appointment, get on a plane to YOUR town and talk to YOUR local stores manager. its something YOU are going to have to be involved in.

here are some tips.
1. organise a local meetup of like minded bitcoiners in your area. the more that turn up the better as it shows there is a demand for wanting local stores to sell things for btc.
2. find the confident ones that can talk about the benefits of bitcoin.
3. organise or research how that store can swap its BTC back to fiat or pay staff/suppliers in BTC. this might be as simple as one of the meetup members who wants to buy btc often just buy it off the store manager hand to hand. or just learning how to sign a store up to a payment/merchant service like bitpay/coinbase.

then approach the store with the advantages, including demoing how easy it makes things

I know that some of the storekeepers can carry out the fulfillment of a network of its choice such as a coffee by putting in money and pressing a button, chocolate, lottery or specially designed card is inserted into the machine like that. but this means that a place has a profound interest in professed people in the use of various payment systems. A commodities have the speed and confidentiality of its transactions, as it actually manages people, or does not want it to be handled.

I agree with your review, because currently the buying and selling transactions in the world are very fast and it is certain that when we use it to introduce bitcoin it will be very precise and quickly spread to everyone especially with a 10% discount there will be lots of people who are curious and interested.

And if you are constrained by suppliers, is not the bitcoin that you can sell. Surely later, as the publication of your publication, suppliers will surely be interested and will follow your payment method because basically bitcoin can provide benefits.

Bitcoin adoption by applying it to a webshop will not last long because the price cannot be stable for a long time, but if you are able to manage it and immediately convert it to fiat then I don't think it will matter. Because I subscribed to a large webshop in my country by using bitcoin, after I bought a lot of things there and then the cryptomarket crash, and then until now the webshop has closed. So I think as long as you can manage and / or run it properly, then it will be profitable, but if you don't have good management, I don't think that adoption will work well. So for individuals I think we just need to continue to use, hold, or transact with bitcoin, even though the crypto market is crashing, but there are still many people in my environment who still believe in bitcoin and crypto. So far I have not seen a big problem, because there are still many people who are convinced of the future of bitcoin and crypto.

As you said, we need government approval before the mass adoption, but that is not the only needs. We also need people that understand what a blockchain is and how it can be useful for everyone. Until people haven't understand what is BTC and its potential, the mass adoption is really far.

the government approves already.
by not disapproving!!

we dont need regulations.
regulations are for businesses to monitor, police and tell and limit what customers can do with their own funds.
we dont need regulations

we need consumer protections.
which are penalties for businesses who wish to steal,, run off or pretend they were hacked. that way business owners cant easily retire with people funds.

i really wish people learned the difference between regulations and consumer protections..
but here is a short lesson..

how much help did regulations ever do during the 2007-8 crises!
banks were regulated but still screwed millions of people

regulations are not a badge of trust. its a rusty sherrifs badge of authority that allows them to police normal people but allows them to be corrupt unpunished. and also get to do it because people WRONGLY think a sherrifs badge is a badge of honour

Your idea is a positive thing for the development of bitcoin, this should be done by many companies, and you also have to be diligent in promoting webshop and webiner, this will suck up new investors

Usually mass adoption only happens when the "lords of the world" start promoting it ostensibly. I believe to think it in large scale considering only individual efforts is a daydream. Businessmen (little, medium, big ones...) can adopt the currency and incentive their customers to adopt too and they may be successful on it, but it doesn't mean the mass adoption will happen.

The masses will come when the governments tell them to do this... And it will only happen when Crypto reach to a safe centralized stage. I don't think it's good, but that is how the masses work.

yeah, you are right.
just let it flow, they may not really understand the true bitcoin journey from the beginning until it has the highest price point.

if they are wise they will take this is an opportunity to adopt it, and keep hold until the price grows back up.
