Altcoin worth is in it's utility and functionalities including the roadmap for it's development.  Bitcoin is the most decentralized,  popular coin that can bring good return on the long run. But altcoin can be very useful and successful too!

I agree that altcoins are really worth but you need to check and research on your own to invest in a right coin. As you know there are lot of scammers in ICO these days is a risky move. You need to check the white papers and you can also check their LinkedIn profile and their previous projects.  This is to safeguard ourselves rather than trusting others.

XRP and XLM and the two cheapest and future altcoins will grow the most. If the market uptrend, XRP and XLM will increase at least 3-5 times compared with the current. And that is the two altcoin I'm investing with ETH

If you still don't have BTC then that should be your first choice to have before anything else. Some of them probably are worth it but having the worthiest coin of all (BTC) is what you should have right now. And when you have it already, you can now start picking up some of those altcoins but avoid those rare ones.

Be specific not all altcoins are worth to invest our money, conduct a research with the altcoin you want to invest in and dont just rely with others suggestion because its important to have your own knowledge to the particular coin.

You can choose in the top 10 coins in CMC if you're confuse, as for me im currently holding eth, xrp, ltc, iost.

Worth or not, it depends on how you can see the potential of an altcoin and how good your strategy in investment. For altcoin like ETH, I think it should be worth since the price possible to increase and very valuable coin that is needed by many parties in crypto system. But you should not choose less valuable altcoins since it may not survive during this decline cycle.

These coins are the good investment for the short/long term.

I will try to avoid these coins, remember they are have already traded in expensive price. This just like put our money into the high risk situation when you have been buying a coin on the peak price, just try to search the coin which still have a lot of opportunity to growth a lot in the future.
There's so many coins have already created the product too.

I think ethereum is maybe the coin which is worth investing in. And also, I think neo is a great coin which can give you very great profits. In addition to these, IOTA and stellar are considerable for me.

Depends on what altcoin you want to invest to. The top 10 altcoins are worth it, they won't be in that list if investors doesn't see them as potential or have the technical fundamentals or real usage. For the rest though, they just clogged cryptoverse because majority of them are just shitcoins. So If I where to choose then I will go on the top 1-10 altcoins and will try to invest on them long term, specially at this time, good buying point because they are all very cheap be a bagholder.

This strategy will work but at the same time there should be some room in your portfolio for some risky investments, you do not really need to put a lot of money in it maybe 5% could be enough and you can invest in several coins with very low market caps in which you see potential, if things go wrong you lose 5% of your money but if things go right that small investment could give you incredible profits.
