Both assets you mention are in the top 10 and that means they're worthwhile to invest in as long as there's no major problems with the project and its development

In my opinion Ethereum still become the number 1 altcoin in next acouple years, because this crypto always try to be better. The team development has plan to solve scalability issue by use sharding and plasma and will change from Proof of Work to Proof of Stake. Ethereum will be possible to process amillion transaction persecond and when this success, mass adoption of Ethereum will be huge and more starts ups will use Ethereum blockchain.

It might be on it's lowest value right now but it will still bounce back to it's original price where we could have a good gain. Ethereum, like other cryptocurrencies can't avoid dip in prices from time to time. The second ranked coin suffered a prolonged downtrend that reached below $200 last month. But it doesn't means that ethereum is no longer profitable because I believe that the price dips are only temporary and it will recover on its own time. There are many entrants that can be capable of overtaking ethereum but it will take time before it will finally happen. So ethereum is still one of the preferred coins for profitable investment especially in long term.
