I strongly believe that a lot of these new mobile games are heavily influencing kids to gamble.  Their minds get very stimulated when they win virtual items like points, achievements, or gems.  This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as long we we teach them to gamble responsibly and treat it as a side hobby.

This is actually true. There are several articles that I have read that links video games/mobile gaming to gambling. They said that it unlocks the world of gambling for young minds.
I can testify that the same feeling when spending money on games is the same as when I am spending my money on gambling. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to win in gambling as the same way as when I am ranking up on my games. It's toxic and addicting when left unmonitored.

If we really consider young peoples, I think that they are the most lazy peoples in terms of earning a living and would always go for some shortcuts. We all know that none other than gambling can provide such shortcuts to earn a better living and hence young peoples go for it i guess. It should not actually be that addicted by them as gambling addiction is the worst one and also can create a lot of financial problems ahead.

Gamblig should be treated as a secondary income rather than treating it as a primary source of income. If treated secondary source of income than gambling can give us some unexpected good incomes out.

I would say actually that the ease of access is actually something that is making things the way they are in the gambling space when making reference to young people. There are a lot of things to life that I believe a young fellow should always realize first most especially before starting to make some decisions when it comes to trying to gamble. Like someone said though, most times it is not really about the age as we have seen old people even not being able to get hold of them-selves, and it is usually the mentality that bring into gambling and the fact that you are smart enough to limit yourself that counts.

Actually, if we are talking about Casinos and those that are licensed and regulated, you really would not see anyone less than 18 years in a casino, but for an online gambling and most especially cryptocurrency gambling, it permits every Tom, Dick and Harry to be a part of it irrespective of your age.

In this vein, gambling addiction is gradually increasing over time among the younger generations as well. But we will actually be bias to say it is only popular among young generations but it is something that actually cuts across as long as you are a gambler with a wrong mindset, whether you are 16 or 80 years of age. For instance, a friend’s grandpa died an addict even at the age of 92, so it can be that bad.

It's definitely becoming more common, but not just in younger people.

More and more people are being exposed to the internet, which in turn exposes them to the plethora of gambling sites available.

I suspect that it's having an even bigger effect on adults over 40 who use the computer, I've seen some completely gullible ones in my time.

I would say that there would be a clear correlation between time spent online and risk of gambling addiction, since younger people tend to spend more time online than the older generation you are probably more likely to see it in the young. That doesn't mean that being young is the risk factor, as correlation doesn't equal causation.

As stated in the article, experts and analysts know the causes and issues that lead to gambling addiction, they have clearly spoken about the dangers, consequences, and effects of gambling on the nerves and health of a person then there is a series of methods to stop that. But we are still here very clearly, the number is still increasing significantly every year, it has no signs of diminishing, even rising dizziness.

And the problem here is I want to ask why that happens? All the information is complete but people still can not solve the gambling addiction problem, the analysis is useless or our greed still dominates all.

I see it as a bad effort to take an article about gambling addiction and put it here with clear asking for merits for that. I think that's the reason why nobody gives it to you.
Coming back to the main point of the thread I will tell that all kind of addictions have place to be the most at young generation. Everything is due to such period of search and hormones which move to new thing trying and addictions.

The addiction happens in gambling is because of the money involvement part comes in. Just consider if their was no money involved but some games or some sort of basic gifts would have given will the craze remains same? It will fall drastically and thus this is where the human behavior comes into picture.

I think gambling addiction is now popular particularly on the part of the millenials because they are considered the explorers.Curiosity won't stop them until they experienced it on their own.And since money is what at stake in gambling,they will surely grab for it without noticing that they are starting to be addicted in gambling.And before they knew it,they have lose already big amount of money and may even lead to a more desctruction of life.

You're definitely right about that. However, it something that have been happening for a long time (19 century), it something I particularly did when i was in high and the only way I use to controlled myself during that time is to make friend with saint in school then.
Every parent have alot to do cause the gambling situations among the young won't stop but the parent can make it stop.

Besides that, I often heard from my friends who have kids, sometimes their kids buy something from the other kids to fill their bag with special character. I think this will make their kids spend more money than to enjoy the game. But I think it's okay because as long as they don't play gambling in the early ages But I don't want to teach any kids to play gambling because once they enjoy with the game, then it will make them hard to stop them in the future.

Elderly that has already their retirement and they have been enjoying their lives through gambling. I have seen those type of people too but the young ones doesn't understand that they shouldn't become addicted to gambling. And they don't have the capacity to support their addictions unlike the elderly.

Besides that, I often heard from my friends who have kids, sometimes their kids buy something from the other kids to fill their bag with special character. I think this will make their kids spend more money than to enjoy the game. But I think it's okay because as long as they don't play gambling in the early ages But I don't want to teach any kids to play gambling because once they enjoy with the game, then it will make them hard to stop them in the future.

It is quite popular among young teens because they need money other than their pocket money, so this option gets popular when one friend wins. People who have money also gamble for fun, mostly retired peoples play for fun.
Another factor is the challenging factor which is in gambling and mostly between two friends. Many youngsters challenge the other just to win over the other, ego plays a big role here.

Well we not only talking about the land casino but also online casino, in land casino there are more elder people gambling, the reason more young people gamble is because they see an easy money from gambling and it gives them excitement, which is a dangerous mindset, young people still have a simple mindset, they tend to want to have easy money and have fun, so young people are easier fall into addiction, a proper knowledge about gambling addiction is needed, the young people should aware the danger and the risk of gambling

We are dealing with young people here, they can still be shaped to not that perfect person or individual but someone that will not self destruct in the time that he has his own family that he should be supporting. Parents and older guardians should really be careful on raising their children, it is really important for them to know the essentials of being an adult at some point.
